"Kittu ji" She tries to break herself free from his grasp again, but he doesn't let her go instead he holds her firmly. Accepting her defeat, she replies, "Bua ji mili thi mujhe, kuchh din pehle market mein."

Rishi slightly nods at her, which is the cue for her to begin. His steady and reassuring gaze but also gives an unspokable assurance.

"Mai kuch din pehle market gayi thi na," she begins hesitantly, her voice barely above a whisper. "Waha par Bua ji mili. Woh... jinke yaha hum shaadi mein gaye the," she trails off, her eyes darting nervously, searching for the right words, the courage to continue.

"Kya kaha unhone?" Rishi's voice is steady, laced with a firm determination. It carries a sense of foresight, as though he already knows what she is about to reveal but wants her to say it nonetheless.

Her fingers tremble slightly as she wrings her other hand. She lowers her gaze, feeling the weight of his expectant silence. The words sit heavy on her tongue, threatening to spill, yet something holds her back. A fleeting glance at his face which is calm, patient but alert.

Her heart beats a little faster as she thinks back to that moment in the market. The conversation at first seemed casual but underneath has ulterior meaning, recalling it now actually makes her throat go dry with tears just threatening to fall again.

And then, in a voice barely above a whisper, she begins, "Sir....... Jo kuchh Maa Papa ke sath ho raha hai... woh ..."

She swallows, trying to steady herself, but the lump in her throat makes it difficult. Her fingers curl slightly as she takes a shaky breath.

She looks up at Rishi, his assuring gaze giving her the courage she needs.

And then, in a quiet, trembling voice, she says, "Kya yeh sab meri wajah se ho raha hai?"
