"Good Morning Sweetheart. It's a school day, get up." I hear a voice say while shaking me.

So lemme explain what happened in the holidays.

I met Liam 4 days after school ended. I talk to him twice a month. He convinced me into talking to my friends. I finally talk to more people, Scott, mum, Stiles and the crew. Yesterday, the crew decided to look for Derek.  Turns out he lost some memory and they helped him get if back. Berserkers exist. And today's the first day of school.

I flutter my eyes open and face my Mum.

"Thank you." I whisper lowly and she gives me a small smile.

"Are you still going to Lacrosse Try-outs?" She asks walking to my blindings, opening them wide.

"I don't know. If Coach asks me but ya, I guess so." I reply.

I was the second best player in the lacrosse team after Jackson left. Coach insisted in making me try because they were out of players.

"Alright. Are you walking to school? And breakfast's ready." She asks before leaving the room.

"I'll just pass through Mason's place and thanks ma."

She finally leaves my room and I quickly get dressed.

I put on some black ripped skinny jeans and a plain white no-sleeves shirt.

I skip the Make up part because honestly, I'll just sweat or cry it off later so it's no use.

I quickly grab my lacrosse equipment and put it on a spare bag, throwing it over my shoulder before grabbing my phone and heading downstairs.

"Good morning Little Moon. " Scott smiles walking next to me.

"Morning." I reply with a nod.

"Hey mum, I'm gonna pass through the Vet to check on it since Deaton only comes back in the afternoon so I have to leave now. See ya!" Scott says. Without giving mum time to answer, he walks through the door and slams it shut.

Even though I could hear his heartbeat raise, I just ignore it, taking a banana before sitting down.

Mum sighs shaking her head slightly and sits down next to me.

"Where's dad?" I ask.

"Gone. He wanted to get there earlier."

I nod and finally finish eating my scrambled eggs.

I take the plate to the sink and start washing it quickly before kissing my mother in the cheek.

"Bye ma." I whisper, knowing that she heard.

"Have a nice day Honey." She smiles sweetly and I nod.

I grab the spare keys, my earphones, plugging it to my phone while blasting some Slipknot and grab my bike, heading towards Mason's house.

I start pedaling and notice a small figure in front of me, so I slow down to see who it is but once I get close enough to the students bag, which was now hanging on one shoulder, I realize a name tag on the bottom right corner.

Liam Dunbar

Shit.

I saw him turn on the left so I no longer could go that way to Mason's house.

I didn't wanna be seen by him so I decided to take the long way and with my werewolf help, it would be pretty easy.

The next song playing in my earphones was 'Smells like Teen spirit' by Nirvana so I started singing along.

Once I reached Mason's house, I saw him get out holding his phone to his ear, turning his back to me.

"Ya sure, that's ok. Alright, see you later."

I go even faster and when I'm close enough to Mason, I shout.

"Boo!"

He looks at me with a smirk on his face.

"I know it was you. Anyways, I heard that you were talking to Stiles and Malia now?" He exclaims with a surprised look.

I get out of the bike and throw it on Mason's garden, behind the fence.

"Ya, Liam might have convinced me into talking to my best friends." I say with a shrug.

"Liam?" He questioned. "You talked to Liam?"

"Ya, what's the problem?" I asked with a shrug again.

"You talked to someone other than Scott or me. Aut that's good!" He brings me into a hug and I suddenly hear a new heartbeat in the distance.

I focus my earing and my sense of smell.

It's Liam. What's he doing here?

"By the way, I hope you don't mind. I kinda invited Liam to walk with us to school today..."

I snap my head to him and my eyes widen.

That's why he is literally around the corner.

"You didn't think of telling me?" I asked, my voice raising with each word.

"Hey Mason." I hear Liam say.

I remove my earphones and quickly hide behind the wall, fixing my outfit.

Why do I even bother? Thats new...

"Hey man!" Mason exclaims and they do their little man handshake.

"Is she here yet?" Liam asks with a tint of excitement on his voice.

"Yup, I'm here." I step next to Mason and give them a sweet smile.

"Alright, we're ready to go." And with that, we followed Mason into the school.

And let me tell you,

I've never been in such an awkward silence before.
