*2 weeks later*

2 weeks had past since the day at the beach with James and his family, James was now getting ready for work, he took a quick shower and brushed out his lavender hair and shaved a little mustache that was busy growing on his face, he turned and put on a dark blue suit with a reddish pink tie and black pointers, he put his hair in a ponytail and went out to pack his suitcase when he realized Jessie had not woken up and her hair dye was slightly out her hair. He took a deep breath and shook her violently

James:*yells* JESS WAKE UP ITS YOUR FIRST DAY ON THE JOB YOU CAN'T SLEEP ON IT!!!

Jessie woke up with a yelp and kicked James off of her which sent him flying. The old Jessie's instincts were not gone, her team rocket reflexes still there.James landed on the floor on his back, Jessie, realizing what she did panicked and rushed to his side.

Jessie:*Panicked* J-James?!!! Are you ok?! Did I kick you you to hard?!

James:*Waves it off* I'm ok, I will live thank you.

Jessie sighed in relief that James wasn't hurt, but was still worried since he still had unhealed wounds and it wasn't very helpful that she kicked him, but then again he shouldn't have woken her up like that.

James:*Gets up and dusts off* I see I won't need to wake you up like that anymore, you surely have changed in these 4 years Jess.

Jessie blushed and pouted wanting to deny everything, but she knew it'd be a lie since during these 4 years she was use to being a light sleeper now rather than a heavy sleeper.

Jessie:*Looks at james* So...why did you wake me up? Did you need anything? New bandages? Cook food for you?

James:*Shakes his head* No Jessie, it's your first day on the job and you need to get ready for it.

Jessie looked calm for a moment till she sprung up realizing what he was saying and ran to the bathroom with all her stuff. James picked out an outfit for her while she showered, applied dye on her head on the areas where there wasn't any dye, she quickly put in her yellow eye contacts nervously and put on all her skin care products James got her for her scars and make up. She runs out in her towel and gets dress, not caring that James was in the room cause come on he's saw her naked countless of times in their years as team rocket. James being the gentleman he was turned on his heels and faced the other direction.

Jessie:*Nervous* B-but James we haven't eaten yet, not to mention I know nothing of being a secretary

James:*Turns around and smiles at her* Dont worry Jess, you'll do fine, I won't put to much work on you, besides most of our time will be just me showing you around the office and if you need anything, ask me ok.

Jessie:*Nods and sighs* Ok,  thanks James.

The two leave for work with meowth guarding the house, the two only took 2 pokemon with them, Jessie took mimiku and serviper  with her and James took chimeko and inkay with him. They got in a cab and made a stop at the Cafe across from the tall building James works at. Jessie amazed by how tall it was couldn't stop looking up at the shiny glass building infront of her and had to be pulled aside by James to the Cafe as he couldn't stop chuckling at her astonished face. She looked like a child who was seeing a movie for the first time.

James:*Smiles* So what do you think of the building?

Jessie:*scratches her cheek with her finger* I'm thinking of how many stairs are in there if you ask me hehehe....

James:*chuckles* That's why there's an elevator, one made only for me, and another for the workers.

Jessie:*Eyes gleam* A private elevator just for you?! Wow who knew James the odd one of team rocket would have his own private elevator hehehe...

James:*Shyly scratches his head* Hehehe, ya who would have known...anyways Jessie let's order some breakfast take aways before we head to work, ok?

Jessie:*Nods happily*

The two ordered some take away coffees and sandwiches with a fruit salad. They left the Cafe with smiles. Once they walked into the building, everyone was looking at Jessie. Shyly, she walked closer to James, clutching a brown paper bag containing her breakfast. James saw how shy she was now, and gave her a soft smile, it was gentle and sweet like it always was. Jessie smiled back and the two took James private elevator up to James office. James office was at the very top of the building, a beautiful view of the city from above and modern decor inside. Jessie was in awe at the view, ignoring the beautiful decor which her past self would have been vying for.

Jessie:*Looks out the windows in awe* This would be the perfect place to watch the sunsets, don't you think James?

James:*Smiles softly at her astonished gentle face* Yes indeed, before we saw each other, I use to stay late here in my office to watch the sunset with a glass of red wine and some chocolate.

Jessie:*Looks at James and smiles softly* Do you think I can join you when you feel like doing that again?

James:*Nods and sits in his desk* Yes, I don't mind, it was often lonely to sir and watch the sunset alone. I'd like company sometime when I feel like seeing the sun set again.

Jessie turned smiling happily at James and walked to a chair and sat down. James was going through paper work as Jessie sat there, not knowing what to do in the mean time since James hadn't given her work yet. Nor has he shown her around yet and she could see he was setting out some papers which looked rather important, because she saw a blue stamp on it with the Morgan name and logo on it and normally important documents which have the business name and logo on it are really Important.

Jessie:*In thought* "It must be really important if it has the logo and company name on it, maybe it's a trading deal or a contract from the partners who share shares with the company, James looks to be in deep concentration, no wonder he hasn't said anything in the past minute".

Jessie watched as James sorted through the papers, curiously. She didn't want to interfere in his work over minor things like showing her around or where her office was and she certainly didn't want to ask other staff in fear of getting in with the wrong crowd. Jessie stayed seated, she ate her breakfast in silence as James worked and sorted files after files on his desk. After what seemed like 2 hours, which they were, James realized he hadn't exactly given Jessie any tasks, or shown her around or where her office was or even spoke to her for the whole two hours. He looked up to see Jessie reading a book from his little shelf of novels and fanfictions. He liked that she could keep herself entertained, but he felt bad for leaving her hanging in his office without saying a word to her.
