A/N: This is based on a fanfic called 'Exchanged Love'.:) I have thought about this for a while and since I have four or so books in progress, I can't write into a full length book.:/ I'm so sorry.:( This is a happy oneshot, though! I hope you enjoy it!:) Also, Around the World Foundation is a name I made up. I don't know if it is a real thing or not, so if it is, I don't own the rights to it. I also do not own the rights of Pentatonix.

(P.S: The languages used in this are Spanish and Italian, so I'm going to use a translating thing to translate English words so I'm sorry if it is not 100% correct.)

It all began on a normal Sunday afternoon. Senior year was about to start for three students. They all went by Avriel Kaplan, Kevin Olusola, and Scott Hoying. Summer vacation was almost over, meaning Mr. and Mrs. Olusola will come back from Europe with two new adopted children, a boy and girl. The boy was going to start high school and the girl will start junior year.

You see, the Olusolas are ambassadors of the Around the Word Foundation (AWF for short), a new foundation they joined Kevin's freshmen year. Pretty much, anybody involved will adopt two or more children to give them a 'better outlook on life'. The kids that got adopted faced some traumatizing event that caused them to be adopted. Kevin's parents said that after he turned eighteen, he will become an ambassador, even though he didn't want to. He found the whole situation idiotic and believed AWF didn't make sense, which he was ranting about to his life long friends, Avi and Scott.

"I don't get it," Kevin ranted, shaking his head. Two pairs of eyes watched him intensely as he paced back and forth in his large room.(a/n: Pretty much the size of Regina George's room)  Posters of cellists were all around his room and his cello laid near his bed, not being touched since last week. Medical and music books were organized on multiple shelves. "Why would my parents do this to me? Why? Don't they know I want to be a doctor or cellist? Not some ambassador to some dumb foundation that doesn't even care for mentally unstable kids?"

"I don't, man," Avi answered, resting his head on top of his palm. His beard tickled him a bit, making him adjust his hand. "It does seem unfair, though. I wouldn't want to do that either."

"I just don't care," Scott commented, looking up from his fingernails. Scott really didn't care for anything. He is a sweet kid, but he just can't find stuff that he cares about. Except if anything has to do with Beyoncé. "I mean, they're just two dumb kids from Spain and Italy or wherever they came from. You just got to live through it."

Kevin was about to protest Scott's logic when the door open. He heard his mother's sweet voice speak in fluent Italian while his father's rough voice spoke in Spanish. The tall male rolled his eyes, not ready to meet his new 'siblings' as his parents called them.

"Ready for the worst year of your life?" Avi joked, making Scott let out a laugh. Kevin wanted nothing more than to slam their sorry heads into his wall. His friends and him exited his room and walked down the mansion stairs, their footsteps echoing in the large house. Being doctors, Mr. and Mrs. Olusola are rich and they want nothing more than for Kevin and their new children to get the future they deserve. The three males stopped in front of Kevin's parents and there stood a pretty blonde girl and a handsome boy with black hair that had bangs that went over his eyes. Kevin's parents turned excitedly, smiling at their son.

"Kevin," his mom chirped, bringing the new housemates up to him. They waved shyly at the male in front of them. "This is Kirstin Maldonaldo! She's from Spain. And this is Mitchell Grassi. He's from Italy."

"Yeah, hi," Kevin stared off in a bored tone, making his father glare at him. His mother swatted him softly on his arm, making him give his new siblings a painfully fake smile. His friends almost started to giggle in the background. "Welcome to California! It's known as the Golden State and our state bird is a quail."

Kirstin and Mitch both tilted their heads, confused. Kevin raised an eyebrow. Are they aliens or something? Kevin didn't put two and two together until Kirstin spoke up in a timid voice.

"No hablamos ingles," she spoke softly, motioning towards Mitch. Kevin raised his eyebrow up even more, if that was even possible. What did that girl just say?  "Lo siento." (We don't speak English./ I'm sorry.)

Kevin shook his head in confusion, not understating a word she just said. His parents seemed to walk off, making him 'enjoy' the new members of the Olusola family. Yeah, right. Mitchell seemed to notice his confusion and spoke in even a quieter voice than Kirstin, which seemed impossible.

"Non parliamo inglese," he spoke shyly, causing Kevin to roll his eyes. Mitch tilted his head, worried. "Ho fatto qualcosa di sbagliato?" (We don't speak English./ Did I do something wrong?)

"Wait here," Kevin commented, waving his arms hands around as if he was saying 'stay there'. The children nodded their heads, seeming to catch his drift. He then turned around to Avi and Scott, his anger now prominent on his face. "Watch the foreigners. I need to speak to my parents."

Avi and Scott nodded as Kevin walked off to the kitchen. His parents were in the kitchen, conversing about something that Kevin probably wouldn't care about. They looked up and smiled as their son came up to them, arms crossed.

"Yes, Kevin?" His mom asked kindly. She set down the cup of wine she was previously holding on the counter. "I wish you came to Europe with us. It was gorgeous. Spain and Italy are the most gorgeous places your father and I ever went to. Kirstin speaks Spanish while Mitchell speaks Italian, but they have learned to speak each other's language. How fascinating is that?"

"I have more important things to worry about than some foreigners," Kevin hissed, making his mom gap her mouth. She has never heard words like that come out of Kevin's mouth before! "Why are they even here?"

"Well," Kevin's father started off,  setting down his wine glass too. He mimicked his son's posture. "The whole reason why they got adopted is because some traumatizing event. I'll tell you, but it's too early. They'll tell you in no time. They have hard stories to tell. We'll put them in English speaking lessons so they will be able to communicate with them. Other than that, live with it. They're your new siblings."

Kevin rolled his eyes, irritated. He walked out of the kitchen, exasperated. He hates this. He doesn't even want the 'foreigners' to be here. He walked back to the stairs to find his friends just staring at his new 'siblings'. They were having a conversation in pure Italian. It seemed like they were talking intensely about some subject that was affecting them both. They stopped when they saw Kevin and smiled.

"Gracias por permitirnos ser aquí," Kirstin replied, smiling. Mitchell nodded in agreement. "Gracias, señor Kev-enn?" (Thank you for letting us be here./ Thank you, Mr. Kevin.)

"Kevin," he corrected, rolling his eyes. He glared at his friends when they let out monstrous laughs. He froze when he felt two little yet sweet kisses on his cheeks. He turned around to see Mitchell smiling.

"Grazi, Sig. Kev-een," Mitchell commented shyly, his dimples more prominent. He walked off next to Kirstin. "Tu sei bella y gentle." (Thank you, Mr. Kevin./ You are nice and kind.)

Kevin's parents then walked in, beginning to speak in the new languages that were pretty much forced in this family, in Kevin's opinion. His parents were showing the new family members will stay. Kevin then stared at his friends, exhausted by today's events."

"I hate this," he commented, looking back at his parents. He sighed as he went upstairs, wanting today to end. Maybe this new experience won't be that bad...right?

A/N: Hope you guys enjoy this! I have nothing else to say, lol.
