This one-shot is based on an evil idea that has been on my mind for months on end.;)

This is in the Incurable universe so Scott and Mitch will still have their disorders.

ANYWAY

ON WITH THE STORY!!!

WARNING: seizure

( Imagine 2011 Scott and Mitch while reading this.^_^)

Mitch's first distinct memory was meeting a doctor.

A doctor that talked to his mommy and daddy for a very long time, their eyebrows furrowed with worry as the doctor spoke. Mitch was playing with a Barbie, Nel's soft hand on his back the entire time. He could remember the exact words the doctor so as that day:

"I'm sorry, Mike and Nel. Mitchell has Angelman Syndrome."

Of course, Mike and Nel had no idea what that even was. They knew that it took almost two years until Mitch started walking and that he hasn't said even one coherent word yet, but they just thought he was developmentally slow. They didn't know it was that serious.

That is...until he had his first seizure.

He was six years old and playing on the playground when it happened.

It was his turn on the slide and the next thing he knew, he was in an ambulance. He was confused, not understanding what was going on. What happened? He didn't know what happened until Nel told him, tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Your mind is very different from everybody else's. Sometimes, it'll loose control and make you move around a lot. When that happens, I want you to know that Mommy will be there to help you out of it."

Mitch was scared.

His body sometimes moved without him knowing and he couldn't control it. He had the seizures almost every week, his mom by his side every time. When he got out, his mom was there to comfort him.

When he moved to rehab, he was scared about being alone.

Until Scott came along.

~~~
"Scotty!"
Scott looked up, smiling softly at the sweet little boy in front of him. Mitch was jumping up and down, giggling softly.
"Hi, I missed you! You were asleep a long time."
"Sorry," Scott murmured, Mitch's small arms wrapping around his waist. Mitch breathed happily, looking up at his best friend with a big smile on his face.
"I didn't have any seizures this week! My mind must be very happy!"
Scott nodded, trying his best not to frown. He always there to help Mitch after he had one of his seizures, making sure that he was okay and happy. He was never not there after a seizure.
"Tell me I'm pretty, please?" Mitch asked, winking a bit. Scott nodded, smiling softly.
"Gorgeous."
Mitch giggled, blushing a bit as a nurse came in. The nurse smiled at the friends, clearing his throat. Mitch looked up, gasping happily as he skipped over to the nurse.
"Hi, Sam! I missed you! Where were you?! How's your mommy?!"
"Mitch," Scott whispered, waking over to the hyper boy. Sam smiled weakly, trying his best not to cry. He lost his mom last week.
