The blue skies, calm spring breeze, and emerald green grass beckon me outside. I sit under the shade of a large pine tree and stare up into the darkening azure sky, flashbacks rushing through my mind like torpedoes. The shady blue sky is soon filled with dark roaring thunder clouds. Lightning strikes the earth on the horizon and it illuminates the now pitch black sky as dark as night. I remember my past, all the hardships I've overcome, and I stand up. And as I walk back to my foster family's house, I smile. Because now. I remember why I'm here.
There. I submit. I only am doing this cause it's Amber. I hate short stories like this.
#amber100. I hate the 100 word rule. I had the best story ever with 112 words and now my story is stupid cause I cut out about half of it! I actually have an ever updating story in my head I would like to write down so check out my newest book to read it. I'll edit this and make it a chapter in that book later.
