"Jungkook!" Jimin shouted, slamming the front door behind him. He sprinted into the the kitchen where Jungkook was making lunch, waving an envelope wildly in his hand.
"Jungkook! Look!" Jimin waved the envelope back and forth in front of the younger.
"I can't look if you're waving it everywhere."
"Good point." Jimin chuckled, handing him the envelope. Jungkook opened the already torn apart envelope, discarding it on the table before addressing the check in his hands.
"Wow," Jungkook's eyes almost popped out of his head, he'd never held this much money in his hands before, "That's a lot of money."
"I couldn't believe it either."
"Wow." Jungkook said again, dumbfounded. Neither boy knew what to do with this amount of money. Jimin had picked up a steady gig at a club twice a week and they paid him the first month in advance.
"We're going shopping." Jimin said with a smile.
"For what?"
"Clothes for you."
"Jimin, you can't do that." Jungkook protested.
"But I want to! It'll be fun!"
"No."
"But Jungkooooook!" Jimin whined.
"I said no."
"Oh well. I want to do this, you deserve it." Jimin said, putting a hand on either one of Jungkook's shoulders. Jungkook chewed on his bottom lip.
"Are you sure?" Jungkook asked. Jimin nodded with a smile.
"Fine." Jungkook sighed and Jimin bounced up and down excitedly chanting 'shopping spree' as they got ready to go.
An hour later they found themselves in the nearby mall and Jimin couldn't contain his excitement, yanking Jungkook by the wrist into the first store he saw.
"You have to try this on." Jimin held a green and black flannel out to the younger. Jungkook took it, adding it to the overflowing pile of clothing in his arms after only a few minutes.
"I think you've picked out enough." Jungkook said through the pile. Jimin laughed.
"I guess so, let's go try them on!" Jimin grabbed Jungkook's hand, yanking him into the nearby dressing room.
"Jimin." Jungkook said as he put down the heap of clothing on the bench in the room where Jimin sat down, "You're not staying, right?"
"Why can't I?" Jimin asked innocently.
"I'm trying clothes on..." Jungkook said.
"Oh! Sorry, I'll go." Jimin realized what Jungkook was hinting at and left in a hurry, "But you better show me everything!"
First, Jungkook tried on a black t-shirt with white cursive lettering across the front. Jimin had picked out some more 'interesting' choices but Jungkook had picked this shirt out due to it's simplicity. He liked to be comfortable.
"It's cute!" Jimin cooed, making Jungkook turn so he could see it from all angles, "If you like it, we'll get it."
Jimin said that about all of Jungkook's choices. The last thing the younger trued on was the flannel that Jimin adored. He put it over a white t-shirt with black block lettering and looked at himself in the mirror. He felt indifferent about it. Jungkook tended to wear lots of reds and blacks so this was a little outside his comfort zone. It also was pretty fitted, which he preferred over sized.
When he stepped out of the dressing room, Jimin's mouth fell open.
"You look... wow. I love it." Jimin smiled, unable to take his eyes off the younger. Jungkook's face became hot and he looked down.
