•Sonics POV•

Sonic smiled as he grabbed an old guitar that had been collecting dust in the attic. "Hey kids! I have a surprise for you and your mother!" He said in a sing-song voice. It was already late and the kids had never acted this bad when going to bed.

"Really?!" Came the little ones voices. "Woo-Hoo!!" They cheered as I heard Amy's growl. "Sonic! We don't reward bad behavior!" Amy called up to me. "Just wait! This is perfect!" I beamed and came down from the attic holding the guitar.

"Kids, you can only get the surprise if you go to bed." I told them. Anne ran immediately into the room. Flash glared at me. "You're gonna sing?" He asked me. I nodded at him and he smiled.

We all went to the kids room and I sat on a chair and strummed on my guitar. "This is a song I sang to your mother a lot." I grinned and Amy raised an eyebrow and blushed. "I'll sing it softer then when I sang it to your mom, okay kids?" I asked them. They nodded and I started the guitar.

" She's an American beauty
I'm an American psycho
She's an American beauty
I'm an American, I'm an American
American Psycho"

I took a quick look at the kids who seemed to be enjoying the song.

"I'm an American, I'm an American
I'm, I'm, I'm an American psycho
I think I fell in love again"

I winked at Amy and she blushed as she kissed the kids heads

"Maybe I just took too much cough medicine
I'm the best worst thing that hasn't happened to you yet
The best worst thing
You take the full, full truth, then you pour some out
You take the full, full truth, then you pour some out
And you can kill me, kill me or let God sort 'em out
Kill me, kill me or
She's an American beauty
I'm an American psycho
She's an American beauty
I'm an American, I'm an American
American Psycho
I'm an American, I'm an American
I'm, I'm, I'm an American psycho
I'm an American, I'm an American
I'm, I'm, I'm an American psycho"

The kids started to doze off after that lyric, but I wanted to keep singing. Amy was enjoying the song, and so was I.

"I wish I dreamt in the shape of your mouth
But it's your thread count I really care about
Stay up 'til the lights go out
Stay up, Stay up
You take the full, full truth, then you pour some out
You take the full, full truth, then you pour some out
And as we're drifting off to sleep
All those dirty thoughts of me
They were never yours to keep
Altered boys, altered boys
We're the things that love destroyed
(I'm an American, I'm an American)
You, me, us, them
We're just resurrection men
(I'm an American, I'm an American)
Us, we were only there, to make you live again
(I'm an American, I'm an American)
Us, we were pity sex, nothing more and nothing less
(I'm an American)
She's an American beauty
I'm an American psycho
She's an American beauty
I'm an American, I'm an American
American Psycho
I'm an American, I'm an American
I'm, I'm, I'm an American psycho
I'm an American, I'm an American, I'm an American psycho
I'm an American, I'm an American
I'm, I'm, I'm an American psycho"

Amy kissed my nose and hugged me. "That was adorable, Sonic." She cooed and I grinned slyly. "And the kids are fast asleep, too." She whispered and I stood up with my guitar. "Come on sweetie, let's go to our room. We need to sleep ourselves." I winked at her. She purred and nodded.

"You think our kids will end up liking the music you sing? I'm surprised it put them to sleep..." Amy said and looked back. "They just know rock and roll is the superior genre." I grinned at her. Amy rolled her eyes. "You're gonna be surprised when Anne likes boy bands in the future." I almost gagged. "I'll still love her, but I'll be greatly disappointed-"

"Sonic T. Hedgehog!" Amy gasped at me.

"Kidding, kidding!" I laughed and chuckled. "Now let's really go to bed." I told her. Amy nodded and we both crawled into our bed.
