Yeonjun's POV:

I was organizing and making sure I had everything I needed in the medical bag I was about to take into the bank with me. Soobin was standing right next to me, glancing at me every few seconds and pretending to get his rifle and equipment together as well, even though he's been ready for the last minute. We were standing behind the car, the hatchback opened so we had a slight amount of cover. He hasn't said anything in the two minutes we've been here, but—

"I can feel you staring at me, Soob..." I said, trying to keep my voice down. I looked over my shoulder and saw how he was looking at me; a look I've seen before. I sighed, trying to reassure him, "I'm going to be fine. I'm wearing a wire so Chan can analyze the conversation. You're going to be able to hear everything. I've got my vest on. I've done this before, you know?"

He looked away from me for a moment, scanning the area really quick to make sure the rest of our team wasn't close to us. I went back to organizing the medical bag as he said, "Please, be careful, ok?..." He paused for a moment, "I-I know this might be a bad time to say this, but I care about you a lot. And I—"

"I'm going to stop you right there..." I cut him off, zipping up the medical bag and putting it over my shoulder as I turned to him. I could see the look in his eyes, and I already knew what he was going to say, "I'm not saying 'goodbye' to you because I'm coming back..." I took a step closer to him, whispering, "And whatever you want to say, tell me tonight, ok?"

I saw a little, shy smile form on his face. He nodded, "Still, be careful..." He looked into my eyes as he slipped a piece of paper into my hand. I held onto it tightly, and he said before I could ask, "I'll be keeping an eye on you. We all are." He added, and I knew he wanted to give me a kiss, but he couldn't. I wanted to give him one too. He backed away from me, looking into my eyes for a few more seconds before turning around and running towards the building across the street with his rifle.

I watched him for a moment, and then I looked down at my hand. It was a tiny piece of paper, folded in half. I have no idea when he had the time to do this, but I carefully opened it and read what was inside: I <3 you

I smiled to myself for a moment, but tried my best to keep it in my head instead of showing it. I shoved the piece of paper into my pocket before anyone saw and closed the trunk, beginning to make my way over towards Chan.

Taehyun was in my path, and before I passed him, I quickly said, "You have my word; I'm bringing him back."

He nodded, "I know..." He hurried to say, "Tell him I love him if you can. Now go."

I knew he didn't want me to smile right now, not like this. I nodded and replied, "I will." And then headed over to Chan.

He was on the phone with the subjects, but saw me and gave me a thumbs up. I nodded, beginning to walk towards the front entrance of the bank as I heard Chan say, "Yes, he's coming to the entrance right now..." Over the phone.

I tried to appear as calm as possible, taking a few deep breaths through my nose on the walk towards the front of the building. I paused once I reached the doors, peering through the glass to see all three subjects huddled on the other side. Two of them had shot guns, the other a pistol.

I slowly lifted my hands up, holding onto the medical bag as well. One of them came closer to the door, hesitating to open it for me. Once the door was open enough, the one with the pistol reached out and grabbed my vest, pulling me inside. They hurried to close the door behind me, and then he backed away and pointed the gun at me, "There better be no weapons in that bag."
