Chapter 3

A/N So sorry for not updating in a while, I've been really busy. Now updating time!!!!!

Juliet P.O.V

Once we were on the floor of the building, I pulled Flare closer to me. He nuzzled my stomach and squawked quietly. I could feel he was afraid, and that just made me even more unhappy. We didn't wait long to crawl out of the sack. It took a minute because Flare and I were both trying to squeeze through the hole at the same time. We were both to protective of each other to let the other possible be in danger first. I managed to get out first, not long after Flare was out right behind me. I looked around and couldn't believe my eyes. We were in North's workshop, the North Pole.

I gasped and looked around with wide eyes. It was just as beautiful as I imagined. Toys everywhere, bright lights, trees and magic. I almost didn't notice the big five standing in front of me. It took me a minute to come to my senses. I was at the North Pole with the big five all together....... Holy mother of pigs what did I do?! They all had big smiles but Bunnymund's was the by far the largest. Before I could say anything Bunnymund hopped to me and pulled me into a huge hug. "You're real," he whispered in my ear. I couldn't help but hug back, he was really soft. Plus who can say no to a giant fluffy bunny. I felt more arms wrap around me, they were really hairy. I looked up only to come face to face with a yeti. Once the others saw what he was doing they all came in for the hug. There I was in the middle of a circle of fur. I looked over at Flare only to see him flying around above us squawking with jealousy.

I laughed at him, he got jealous so easily. One they all backed off Flare flew to me almost knocking me over. He nuzzled me trying to show me that he loved me the most. I wrapped my arms around him and turned to the guardians. All of there smiles were bigger now. My eyes swept over them one at a time. Tooth was pretty, she looked kind of like a humming bird. I couldn't help but make a comparison to animals. Sandy well he was so short and a pull in my gut told me I would treat him like a little brother. North had the coolest tattoos that made him look well menacing. Bunny looked really big for a bunny. Lastly Jack..............my look immediately hardened, it didn't help that he was holding my staff. Flare knew I was mad and tried to squirm out of my grip, but I just held tighter.

"Care to explain why I'm here? Oh and my staff would be nice." Bunny turned to Jack and ripped my staff out of his hands. He then hopped back over to me handing me my staff. This is awesome my power over animals was already working here. Any animal around me will do anything to keep me safe or please me, and I guess it counts with the Easter bunny too. It was a convenient influence but one too many squirrels had tired to provide me with acorns when I was sad. Surprisingly Bunny stayed by my side. North then yelled, "Welcome to the guardians! Man on moon has chose you to be the new guardian! Cue the music!"

All these tiny elf's came in happily playing instruments. They looked like creepy little old men. They were kind of cute in a creepy way. Yetis were spinning fire batons but that's when I started to freak out. I don't like fire and never have, and I don't know why. Flare was the only good thing that came to fire. I let go of Flare and hugged Bunny who was beside me. I started to cry harder than I thought was possible. "Mate the fire, it's scaring her!" That's all Bunny said and it was enough too. Bunny's soft fur helped me calm down. Once I felt like the fire was out I looked up from Bunny's chest. The guardians were all looking at me funny. I guess now they know I have a fear. I guess that's not very helpful for whatever they have planned.

I couldn't take the stares any more so I shoved through the crowd and ran. I could feel Flare in the air above me. I ran to the first room I saw and opened the door just enough to let me and Flare squeeze through. I slide down the door making sure to lock it. I didn't want anyone except Flare and maybe Bunny's comfort.
