Upon Rizal's exile to Dapitan, the La Liga Filipina (reform oraganization founded by Rizal himself) was split into two factions consequently. The Cuerpo de Compromisarios were the only faction firmly stood to continue the reform's principles for peaceful struggle. While the other group, gave up hope and formed a revolutionary movement that inspired all the course of their combat against the tyrants, the KKK (Katipunan).
