December 30, 1896. The day of execution.
"Consumatum est!" Rizal yelled.
"Fuego..!"
Consumatum est (It is done) were the last words of Rizal before the executioners rang out their rifles in a death row for he was a traitor to Spain.
It was done already. His lifetime undertakings, his triumphs and failures, and mission which he believed that he was aware of the history that will put him in a highest aspiration and inspiration to the future Filipinos giving an example of how to die well for his country. A patriot knows how to do the sacrifices and love, he did it.
