Fashion is a matter of art representing within yourself of who you are. Rizal was a fashion-lover. Beside that, he had an almost perfect V-shaped body, he was lifting weights. Behind the black suites and our notion of him being overly studious, was a perfectly healthy body. Below are main information revolving the favorite fashion of Rizal in Europe until his death, his vital statistics are also shown here:
Hat
• Bowler hat - man's hard felt hat with a round-dome shaped crown around his big head
• The iconic bowler hat, which Rizal was noted for and used in Bagumbayan
• Material: Silk
• Size: 6 1/2 inches and the interior measures 8 inches from front to back
Coat
• A garment worn to his outdoor routine, having sleeves and typically extending below the hips
• Rizal had broad shoulders
• He is medium build
Waistcoat
• This garment is worn under doublet which is short, sleeveless, collarless especially over a shirt and often under a suit jacket or a vest
Trousers
• This garment covering the lower body from the waist to ankles, with a separate part of each leg

• The black shoes was a gift from his eldest sister, Saturnina, and used until his death in Bagumbayan
• It is said that he had big feet. If we can notice the bronze feet of Rizal in Intramuros (retracing his footprints), they are big feet but the National Historical Commission argued that they built those big bronze feet just to emphasize well the retracing footprints
