Rizal was not a playboy. NEVER. In fact, he was very admired women at all with good intellectual, beauty of the soul, sweetness disposition and other genuinely nature he observed while traveling to other countries. Speaking of his travels, he had never been really inlove to other girls because of his true love and sincerity to the one of his greatest love, Leonor Rivera.
After the thirteen years of their secret relationship upon the news of Leonor's marriage, Rizal bloomed his heart once again when he met Nellie Boustead. He offered marriage with her but failed owing to number of reasons: Nellie was a devout Protestant; the mother of Nellie was never like Rizal for their love affair; the minimal financial status of Rizal; and the news that Rizal was a heretic.
Rizal at this time never been playing games for the women he treated. He believed in the power of women capable that all men are equal as well as respect and the importance of them to our society. So, it doesn't mean that Rizal was a playboy. The women were actually inloved to Rizal with different reasons and times of love.
