Something strange was settling into the grounds of the great demon kingdom. But it wasn't just Covenant Castle that had sensed this strange unsettlement. It was also the temple of the great one. The night had laid its calm, dark blanket over the kingdom, and nearly everyone was deep in their slumber. Well that was everyone except for a certain bespectacled double black and a high priestess.

There in the quietness of the underground temple, Ulrike had felt an unnerving presence within the kingdom. What she had sensed made her feel very uncomfortable. And the great wise man knew this.

Murata quietly made his way to the underground temple where he was met by Ulrike. She was stood before her crystal ball, staring into it fiercely. Murata couldn't see her face due to her small figure reaching the same height as the crystal, but he could sense that something was definitely wrong. The tense atmosphere gave that away.

The double black great wise man walked toward the platinum haired priestess. When he reached her, he stood to the side and looked into the crystal ball. "Did you feel it too?" He asked quietly, not taking his eyes off of the crystal ball.

Ulrike looked to him and sighed. She closed her amethyst eyes and nodded "yes I did." After a moment of silence between the pair, she added "it seems that yet another thing has settled into the kingdom."

Murata nodded "yeah, it seems so."

She opened her eyes "your eminence what is this? Do you think this has anything to do with her excellency?"

He looked to her with an intense look of apprehension. He cupped his chin in thought, trying to think of anything that Miyuki could have been exposed to in the last three days. Murata's eyes widened with remembrance as he turned to her "I may be wrong, but the day before last, Lady Von Bielefelt came in contact with a strange gem. It was when Lord Weller took her to investigate the fire in the southern border."

Ulrike's eyes widened aswell "what?"

"Shibuya and I also went along, but it was only me that noticed her pick up the gem."

"What happened when she picked it up?" She asked quietly.

Murata folded his arms as he began to explain "as a fire was reported in the Grantz territory, we had to go there and investigate..."

FLASHBACK

Miyuki had just questioned a few of the villagers that were witness to the fire of the village on the edge of the Grantz territory. They had told about their husbands getting slightly burned as they tried to put out the fire. After questioning them, Miyuki gratefully thanked them and let them continue with their business.

The entire kingdom had been ordered to report every fire that occurred so that they could investigate them, in hope of finding the people who murdered the late blonde ex - prince. Miyuki's heart sunk to know that the whole kingdom knew of her death, but she didn't show her uneasiness as she had work to do.

It had been an entire month since she had arrived at the great demon kingdom known as a human from Adelade by the name Miyuki Allcott, and yet it still seemed to not get any easier for her. Her fiancé was a tired wreck, that tried his dammed hardest to hide his emotions but would just burst into tears and run to his room like a child that had just lost someone precious to them. But Miyuki blamed herself as it was mainly her fault for him feeling that way. Everytime Yuri looked at her, his heart felt like it was being twisted into tight knots. As he saw his one true love, that he believed that he had lost, standing in front of him, or beside him. Even around him for that matter pained him.

Miyuki had seen her mother once in the past month and that was the last time. Celi had decided to visit less frequently until her son's murder investigation had been dealt with. Unless it was for important events that she had to attend, due to her still being apart of the aristocracy. When the elder blonde haired woman was asked 'why's, she just told them that the pain in her heart, caused by the loss of her youngest, was growing even more due to her somehow seeing him in the human known as 'Miyuki Allcott'. And Celi didn't think she could put up with that pain anymore than she already had.
