Lorrie-
"Nikki, if you keep messing with your hair you'll mess it up," I tell her smiling at my sister. She must have spent most of the afternoon trying to curl it into it's waterfall. The pearls beaded in look beautiful. "Your hair is beautiful."
Benny pulls up to the entrance at the carpool loop and parks the car in a parking space by the entrance. "Lorrie, come sign me in? We need a guardian, or whoever's going to watch us to sign us into the dance." When did she plan on this?
I begin to object that I shouldn't get out of the car. But Benny gives me that look that says 'do it.' "Okay, let's go." I tell her turning to the back seat to grab my crutches out of the back seat. I open my door and climb out with my crutches. I lean in before I shut the door. "You owe me big time Benjamin." I tell him closing the door and following Nikki inside.
