Four POV
I clear my throat and speak. "Tris, I need to tell you something."
"What?" I start taking off my shirt. "Woah, Four! Why are you strip..." She stops and gasps. "Holy frick." I feel her light touch and wince. She yanks back.
"I'm fine. The tattoo is new."
"Oh my gosh. What happened, Four?"
"Tobias." She looks at me, confused. "My real name is Tobias. I want you to call me by my real name."
"Tobias, what happened? Who did this?" Tris asks, tracing the scars.
I pull my shirt down. "My dad. Marcus Eaton."
"The leader of Abnegation?! I knew he was suspicious!"
"Yeah. He was horrible. That's part of why I left." I think back to the crowds reaction when I chose Dauntless.
"Tobias?"
"Yeah?"
"I have some secrets of my own."
