I had to believe that everything is okay. I had to believe that everything was going to work out, and be okay. I had to be the one to make that decision. I rode in the ambulance as Gabby was unconscious. I was in her position. She was the one that did the saving. She was there for me during my head injury. She saved my life and that was hard for us. I had to be here, for her, and our child. I didn't know though.
The paramedics alerted to the doctors " Gabby Dawson... 34 weeks pregnant! car accident found unconcious at the scene.." The doctor looked at me " Your wife will be okay.." I looked as Gabby was starting to wake up " Gabby... can you hear me?" The doctor looked at her and pulled her eye lids up to check her reflexes, " Gabby! your in the hospital.. can you here me!" She looked at me " The baby.." I looked at her " The baby will be okay..." I was brought to a room and hooked up to a machine.. The doctor looked at the nurses " She's in labor. Her contractions look to be close.. Call the OR.." I looked at him " what..?" He looked at me " Your wife needs to go into emergency surgery.. we have to deliver this baby.."
