Why even try
When this world is so mean
When teenagers struggle
To stay a few days clean
Where young children
Cause themselves harm
By sitting at home
And cutting their arm
Where everyone is judged
On all the wrong things
Some people believe
That they have grown wings
They stretch out their arms
And look to the sky
Jump off the cliff
But they never fly...
