A poem for death

Don't be afraid

You should never be afraid of getting help

You shouldn't have to fear people knowing

You shouldn't have to dread wearing long sleeves or a swimming suit

You shouldn't have to worry your friends will push you away if you text them at your darkest moment

These things aren't cries for attention

They're cries for help

And we shouldn't scold them or turn them away

If we help instead of saying its for attention

Maybe they wouldn't be so afraid to ask

And maybe there would be less 

"What could I have done?" Stories 

And more 

"They helped me get to a better place"

Because everyone should get to a happier place

It's okay to need help

It's okay to ask for help

Because someone will help you

Please don't be afraid to ask for help
