Chapter 2

Josh stood at the terminal that the plane from Toronto would be coming in too. He was so excited to see his boys, he stomach churned with anticipation with hopes of catching a glimpse of Ella. He knew it would never happen, she would stay back, or hide till he was gone. He thought she was being childish. He kept watching the monitor, and it said the flight had landed. Ten minutes passed and he seen Ben come through the gate, a boy on each hand. Wow they had grown. Liam mouth was going a mile a minute, and Landon was watching his surroundings. It was Landon who seen Josh first. Josh smiled big at his boy. Landon let go of Ben's had and ran to his father.

Josh bent down and scooped his boy up in a hug. "Hey buddy, you have grown so much." He hugged him tight. "Oh man I have missed you."

"I have missed you Daddy." Landon said squeezing his little arms around his father's neck.

Josh smiled at Landon releasing to engulf his other little guy. "Hey trouble." He said hugging Liam.

"I lost my ipod daddy." Liam said as he was hugging Josh. Josh started to laugh. What a kid, no hi dad I missed you, hi dad I love you. It was Dad I lost my ipod buy me another one.

"You need to keep track of your things buddy." Josh said.

"I know that is what Mom said too. But she wasn't as nice as you are about it. She is always cranky."

Josh frowned at his son. "It is okay we will go shopping and I will get you a new one."

Liam's frown turned into a smile. "Can we get going?" he asked pulling on his father's hand.

Josh looked in hopes of seeing Ella but Ben was the only one there. "Hey Ben." Josh said standing up from his crouching position. They boys had grown, but they were still pretty short for Josh.

"Hey man." Ben said smiling pulling him into a hug. "You look amazing as always."

Josh laughed and patted Ben on the back. "Thanks I think......"

"So Ella said not a lot of sugar, and make sure they eat balanced meals. Bed time is at eight, even though they will tell you nine thirty. If you need anything call my cell."

"Okay......will do. We will follow all your mom's rules." Josh said smiling. "Our first stop is going to be some place with burgers, fries and ice cream."

"Yay!" both boys exclaimed jumping up and down.

"Ella will kill you."

Josh grinned at Ben. "I would have to see her for her to do that, wouldn't I?"

"I guess." Ben smiled.

"She still dating Mr. Doctor man?" Josh asked as he took each boy by the hand and followed beside Ben who had the boys luggage."

"She broke up with him. Or I think he broke up with her. Not sure. She doesn't talk about stuff like that much anymore."

"Stupid man if he dumped her."

They got to Josh's car, boys jumped into the back. He took the luggage from Ben and put it in the back of his SUV.

"See you in two weeks. Call me or text me the drop off." Josh said smiling at Ben. "Thanks for taking care of them always."

"No problem. Cya later."

Josh got in the SUV and drove off. Ben turned to go back into the airport to find Ella. She was hiding in the shadows as always.

It didn't take him long to find her. She was sitting on a bench waiting.

"Ready L."

"He looks good." She said softly.
