Josh sat at the table in the small restaurant, waiting for Lauren to show up. He hadn't seen her for three weeks. He had talked to her on the phone when he could get away for a few moments. Ella was taken up pretty much all of his time. He didn't mind though, she was different yet the same. She didn't remember anything about their past, so it was kinda like she is this new girl, but still the same in most ways. She still liked what she used to like. They laughed alot, mostly at stupid things he said or did.
Ben called everyday with update on the boys, the boys missed their mother but Josh didn't think it was the right time to bring them. Ella still had no idea about anything, she was starting to walk again. They were to the doctor and they said she was healing nicely. It was easier for him to care for her as she could help out some. It was really hard on him, helping her bathe and dress. She was so fucking sexy, he had a hard time keeping his hands to himself.
Sara came by everyday, that is who was with Ella right now. They talked and chatted, got along really great. Josh didn't worry about leaving her with Sara at all.
He looked up across the room and seen Lauren making her way towards him. Her blonde hair was pulled up into a bun on top of her head. She had a full face of make up on, she was dressed to the hilt. She was very pretty, but not beautiful he thought. He smiled as she pulled up a chair and sat down across from him. Things between them was rough. She was pissed and angry at how much care Josh was actually giving Ella. They fought every day on the phone about it.
"Hi Darling." she said kissing him softly on the lips.
"Hi." Josh said smiling at her.
"I am going to cut right to the chase Josh." she said taking her sun glasses off. "I want things back to normal. I want you back in my bed at night. I want us to set a date. You need to hire someone to take care of Ella and stay with her in that house."
"Laruen I am not leaving her."
"Josh don't be insane. It isnt up to you to take care or her. You guys broke up, you owe her nothing."
Josh ran his hand through his hair. "Set a date for the wedding." he said shortly. "I am going to continue to take care of her. Make sure the date is like next year or something."
"You expect me to wait that long?"
"Lauren you are acting like a crazy person. You were always so understanding."
"You are living with another woman. You are bathing her, and sleeping in the same bed as her. How the hell am I suppose to feel about that." Lauren spat at him.
Josh took a deep breath. She just pissed him off. "Look Laruen none of that is revelant. Maybe we should put our relationship on hold until Ella is better."
"What? I can't even believe you would suggest that. I am not going to wait around for you to be done playing house with your ex Josh. Please don't do this to us. We were suppose to be married by now. Do you not love me?"
Josh looked at her, he could see tears brimming in her eyes. He ran his hand over his face then along the back of his neck.
"You know I love you." he said taking her hand in his.
"Do you still love her?" She asked softly.
Josh sighed. "I will always care about her. She is the mother of my children. Lauren when she gets her memory back, she will go on with her life as I will continue on with my life with you baby."
Lauren looked at him. "Do you still love her Josh?"
Josh looked down at his hands, he folded them on the table. "I love her but I am not in love with her. Lauren you are my furture, you will be my wife baby." Josh reached across the table and took her tiny hands in his. "I love you."
