Chapter 22

"So you had Josh are going to have a new baby?" Ben asked between shoving his pasta in his mouth.

Ella smiled at Ben. "Yes we are, just found out the procedure was a success. I am so excited Ben. I can't even express how much."

Ben smiled at Ella, who he loved with all his heart and he hoped that this was not going to blow up in her face, he could see how excited she was. "I am happy for you."

"But." she said looking at her friend.

Ben sighed. "But keep your guard up. You know how Josh is?"

"What is that suppose to mean?" Ella asked getting a little bit defensive.

Ben sighed again. "I just want you to be happy L, you know I love you and the boys so much. I don't want to see everything that makes you happy destroyed by something out of your control."

"Ben we are married now. Josh will not hurt me, and as for the baby we have a legal contract stating that once she delivers the baby she has no more contact with any of us. You have to remember that this baby is all mine and Josh's. My eggs his sperm."

"I know L, I just worry that is all."

"I know. It is okay Ben, I am glad I have you to worry and look out for me. I never hear from Sarah anymore. She is so busy with her little life."

Ben chuckled. "I am always here for you darling."

"I know." she said pushing her plate aside. "I think I just gained ten pounds."

"How are the boys?"

Ella rolled her eyes then smiled. "Perfect and bad. I can't keep up with them. I can't wait till September to send them back to school. Grade 2, it is hard to believe they will be eight in February."

"Do they know about the baby?"

"Ya we told them. Landon is all excited but LIam being a brat says he only wants it if it is a boy. He doesn't want a sister."

Ben laughed. "I miss them."

"They miss you."

"What are you hoping for?"

Ella smiled. "Girl."

"Ya me too."

"Can you see Josh with a daughter. Oh my god the thoughts make my heart melt. He is such a good dad but to have a little princess, he will be so overprotected of her. I can't wait."

Ben looked at his watch. "Shit I have to get back to the hospital."

Ella frowned. "I wish you still lived with me. I dislike only seeing you like once a month."

"I know." Ben said standing up and grabbing the bill before Ella had the chance. "I will come over to see you guys soon."

"Why don't you come out to the Roxy next week, Marianas Trench are doing a small show there. I can get you back stage passes." Ella smirked.

Ben lauhged. "Message me the details as we get closer. I would love to come. I love to stare at your hushbands ass. He has a nice ass you know." Ben said winking at her.

"I know he dose." she giggled standing and walking with Ben to the counter waiting for him to pay for their lunch.

Ben finshed paying and walked outside with his arm wrapped around Ella's waist. He pulled her into a hug and held her tightly against his body, kissing her on top of her head. "Love you."

"Love you too Ben." she said softly pulling out of his embrace. "Cya later."

Ben walked away but he did stop and wave softly again before he walked off into the distance. Ella was about to turn around and walk back to her car when she was stopped by two young girls.
