"I can take you to her ....." He said coughing up blood "I know where Lani is "

Hearing my baby's name made me rush to him

"Mere open the door " I said as she stood behind me

Before she could get the key in Xavier appeared.

He looked me over then Amere then Brandon .

"I'll explain everything but first we need to get him inside " I said

Xavier walked out and helped Brandon inside

He was so badly beaten he almost looked unrecognizable . He had a busted lip , swollen checks , cuts , bruises, black eyes , and that was just his face .

Xavier led him to the couch as I went to get the first aid .

I walked back in moments later .

" Somebody wanna fill me in on what the fuck is going on " Xavier asked confused

" Yes " Brandon said clutching his side

" My father called and asked me to meet with him . He told me he was gone give me some bad news and ....." He paused already talking slow due to pain .

" And he said that he might be the one to kill my little girlfriend and that in that moment I had to choose . My family or Laylani. When I asked where she was he got all the confirmation he needed. Afterwards he ordered some boys to beat me to death . " he said slowly

" Son , I respect you for that . That let you know you really love my baby girl .But I need you to know I am going to kill your father "Xavier said seriously as he texted on his phone

Brandon shock his head and told him the address

"Alright I just called this Doctor I got on payroll just chill until he gets here and he gone make sure you alright " Xavier said as he starting walking out of the room .

He stopped by the door and turned around

"Brandon .....Know that I really appreciate this and If you ever need anything don't hesitate to ask "

Laylani POV

I laid on the couch trying to take a nap . Before I heard lots of commotion .

I said a silent prayer that they weren't coming my way .

After lots of grunts , cussing , and loud bangs . The noise subsided .

I laid back down I honestly just wanted to go home . I prayed daddy would come to the rescue as always .

But the more I say her the more I lost hope

My thoughts were interrupted when I say a boy about my age walk in .

He was brown skin with black hair and gray eyes .His shirt was tore , his face was bruised , and his knuckles were swollen.

He almost seemed like he was nice . Like he was going to help me .

"You just missed your little boyfriend "he said with no emotion

My heart speed up

Brandon was here ? What happened? Was he apart of the commotion?

"We wanted to kill him . We tried to kill him . But he got away ." He said

I was relieved

"I got about an hour or so before Brandon's father finds out we didn't kill him and he comes looking . Take it I never liked Brandon I'm gonna hit him were it hurts . " he said walking closer

"Starting with you " he whispered in my ear

I shook in fear of what he was gonna do

He came up to me trying to rip my dress from my body I tried to fight him off but he was too strong .

He threw his pants to the ground exposing his self .

I cried steady tears

I wanted to die

I was saving myself for the man of my dreams and he was just gonna take it .

I hit him with all my might right in his eye .

He stumbled back and flared his nostrils .

He raised his hand back and smacked me with extreme force before forcing his self into me .

Then everything went black .

I've been wanting to give this book up because I'm so busy and I hate to keep y'all waiting but life is hectic and wattpad isn't a priority.
