Noah's P.O.V
The bell rings! Yes! Class over! School is over. I walk to Becca's locker.
"Hi there!" I said to her, as I watch her organise her books. She smiles.
"Hey." she says. A warm feeling goes through me as she says that. I used to think a hey was a hey.

There were so many types of hey.
This was the kind that tells you that she missed you.
How do I know? The tenderness of her voice and the smile on her face.

God, I am turning into a mushy mess. If it means I have her, I don't care. I feel so happy. I can just yell in front of the entire school like an idiot. That I am happy. She makes me happy.

"Noah?" She asks, tilting her head in a cute way. She always does this, when she is asking me a question. I don't even know if she knows.
"Yeah?" I answered.
"So..." she starts.
"So?" I interrupt.
"So..." she says again.
"So?" I laugh. She swats me. We exit the school.

"Maybe, so could be our okay." she muses. Great, the fault in the stars! Girls treat it like a bible. Okay, my idea of a bible is The Dark Knight Rises, but come on there are heroes in it!
"So, there is a car wash, this Friday. Today is Wednesday, so the day after tomorrow. All the student council people have to come. Can you come?" she asks.

"Hmmm...." I said, pretending to think. She rolls her eyes at me. "Maybe...." I continued. She raised her eyebrows, skeptical.
"I'll be there." I finished, grinning.
"Great, thanks- she starts to say.
"If you wear a bikini." I interrupt. She laughs.

"I would if you come." she challenges me.
"I am coming." I answered.
"I'll pick you up at 8am. At your house." she confirms.
"That's my line, babe! Oh well. By the way, how do you know where I live, babe?" I question, raising my eyebrows.

"We worked on a science project, once. Together in 6th grade." she replies, smoothly.
"Oh, I remember." I lied, hastily.
"I know you don't remember." she giggles. I sighed.
"Sorry, babe." I apologised.
"You didn't even help me on that project. You were texting Zoey Williams." she said, dramatically wiping her eyes.
She smiles. We stop walking, we arrived at her house.
She leans over and wraps her arms around my neck. She kisses me. I pull her closer.

The door opens. We break apart, immediately. Her mom comes out.
"Hi, Mrs. Evans" I stammer.
"Mom" she scowls.
"I'm sorry was I interrupting?" Mrs. Evans jokes.

"I go to go now." I said.
"Please come inside for some lemonade." her mom says.
I look at Becca, waiting for her to back me up. She smirks.
"I am not going to bite, Noah." her mom says, chuckling.

"Thank you." I said as I enter her house. Becca goes upstairs to put her bag, down.
"Ok, please call me, Amy. I just wanted to say thanks, Becca has always been a shy, closed up person, but since she met you, she changed. She is different, she is confident and well I was really worried about her lack of self-esteem. Now, she is completely fine!" her mom chatters.

"I figured she needed a little push from someone outside of her family and friend circle." I answered, honestly.
Amy was really easy to talk to and wasn't like other moms, I met. She didn't glare at me like I was a bad influence on Becca. Instead she thought we'll balance each other out.

Soon, we are scrolling through Becca's baby photos.
"This was when she ate a mudpie. She thought it was a chocolate cake. I was so scared." Amy laughs.
"Oh my god, no mom! Are you showing him, my baby photos." Becca cries, entering the room.

"I like this one." I tease her, pointing at the one, we were just looking at.
She blushes, bright crimson. She sits down next to me.
"I am so going to meet your mom, one day and see your baby pictures." she grumbles
I give Amy a high five.
