Dear Keegan,
My mother came home last week, she seems so different.
More distant.
She eats less, she doesn't have the same spark in her eyes, and most of all she doesn't seem happy. When she first came home she just gave us a small smile then asked to go to her bed. Originally we dismissed it, now one week later she rarely leaves her room, I don't know what to do, she just seems so "uggh" and not herself, and I don't know what to do. I just really want her to be happy again.
She used to love you so much. Calling you her son, sometimes I still wish that were true. You and I together. I wonder if it could still happen.
To be honest I haven't seen her happy since the last time we were together.
I haven't seen myself happy since the last time we were together.
