Some months have passed and my brother finally found out the gender of him and Diamond baby. Walking around Babies-R-Us with Josiah is so good to see my lil brother happy he having a baby girl. "So what's the plan?" He looked at me as I pushed the buggy. "I don't know sis, treat my baby how daddy didn't treat you. Raise her the best I can and show her right from wrong." I nodded as he picked out some cute outfits for his daughter. "I start working Monday." I stopped and stared at Jo. "Where?" He smiled as he put more outfits in the buggy. "Taco Bell. It's not much but it's a start." I grabbed Jo and kissed his head. "I'm so proud of you, spring break coming up, no days off unless ya boss schedule em, you gone need all the money you can make. I'll keep paying ya phone bill. Stack up on diapers, and washcloths. You gone need em." He nodded as he lead me to the bottles and pacifiers. "So can Diamond move in sis? With us?" I stopped and looked at him. "You serious?" He nodded his head. "I'll think about it, we don't need a second baby, not yet anyway."
I went in the house and started dinner while Zoe and Jo got the bags out the car and put em in the room for the baby. "Let the dogs out!!" I got started cooking some spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad. I'm tired and I don't feel like cooking no big feast, they gone eat this and leave me alone. "Jo you got homework?!" I put the spaghetti noodles in the pot to boil em. "I did them at school, that's why I got home late sis." I put the baby gate up to keep the dogs out the kitchen then washed my hands with anti bacterial soap. "So sis, what you think about Jah'Nova D'Nai Williams." My heart jumped at the sound of my niece name. "I love it bro, she gone have our last name." The smile on his face told me he was gone be a wonderful father. "You gone do great Jo, surround yourself with supportive people, let go of negative ones." He smiled before walking out to the sound of Diamond calling his phone. "That boy in love babe." I kissed Zoe before she jumped up on the counter. "Now you know..." She got down before I could finish my sentence. "Calm down mama, I'm tired." I gave her that I'm serious look. "It's a couch, love seat, and single couch in the living room. A couch and seats in the game room and a couch in our room. But I don't see a couch in my kitchen." She looked at me funny. "Your kitchen?" I stopped and put my hand on my hip. "Do you cook? Do you even fix a sandwich? Do you wash dishes?" She knew better than to try me. "Exactly, you grocery shop and help clean up the rest of the house. This my kitchen and y'all know it, now go get ya son up from his nap and y'all wash up, come eat." I showed Zoe her way out my kitchen. "Don't play with me, Jasmine's kitchen don't hang on the wall for nothing. The hell she think this is. This my kitchen, I throws down in here. When you fix a sandwich or better yet cook some chicken, bacon, something then we can negotiate. Till then respect the sign."
