Ursa and Zakai been staying with AJ and Des. I know its alot for them with Dakari but they offered and we'd do the same for them.
I was chilling watching Martin when my phone vibrated. "What up Jo?" I laughed at Martin ringing the bell to get Gina attention. "We can bring her home bro, getting her dressed now. My baby done gained weight, breathing on her own. Come on sis." I hurriedly put my shoes on and ran out the door. Jas is working overtime so this will be a surprise for her. I got to the hospital and helped them to the car after signing paperwork. After getting them situated I left to get pizza for us all.
My phone vibrated as I was eating and watching Nova while Jo and Diamond got some sleep.
"Where my daughter?"
"Our daughter is taking a nap."
"Why she sleep? What she been doing?"
"She been at school Whit. Why she wasn't going to school? She's behind."
"Cause her deadbeat mother wasn't paying for it."
"All ya dumb ass had to do was ask Whit. I've been trying to see her for months. I've come to ya house and all."
"Whatever Zoe, you need to get off the phone before ya girl get mad."
"Let's get one thing straight. When you call my phone its about our daughter and that's it. My wife has nothing to do with this conversation. And she's never mad or worried about you because your my past and she's my future. She's never threatened by you. To her you just another bitch that still want me. A no good bitch that dropped off her daughter and ran. Get off my line."
I hung up on Whitney as Ursa started to cry. I got her quiet with her cup and took deep breaths to calm myself. My daughter good, Jas is not her mother but shit if you an outsider you'd think she is. Ursa loves Zakai, Jas, AJ, Des, the dogs and especially Jo. They're inseparable and long as my daughter happy, I'm happy.
