"Tell daddy get up so mommy can study." I was sound asleep when I felt wetness on my face. I looked up to see Nova drooling on my face as Diamond held her up as if she was trying to climb on me. "Get up Siah, you got your nap now I need to study. Get up." I wiped off my face with her blanket and sat up. "Come on big girl, where auntie Jas at?" Zakai came running in the room with Ursa playing Tag. Diamond gave me a serious look, she dont play about studying. I grabbed everything I'd need for Nova and left the room with the kids.
"Auntie Jas in the hoouuussseee." I looked up at Jas with two boxes in her hands. "Whats that sis?" She rolled her eyes. "A lil something something for my baby brother." I sat up and as I held Nova sleeping. Jas grabbed her bouncer chair and put it beside me on the couch since the dogs were out. "What I told you about holding her while she sleep? You will never find a babysitter when you need one if she gets use to that. Put her in that bouncer and let her sleep." I kissed my daughter hands and put her in the bouncer with a blanket. "I know sis, she just so adorable." She sat beside me. "She look the same in that bouncer as she do in your arms, let her sleep." I glanced at my baby girl sound asleep, mouth wide open like her mama. "You gone open ya gifts or not?" I sat up on the edge of the couch. "Am I gone die or have a heart attack?" She sucked her teeth. "I'm gone be locked up for murder if you don't stop playing, come on. Empire come on in 30 minutes and I need to see who gone win this rap battle." I opened the first box to see a touch screen HP Laptop. "Yoooo, whats this?" I hugged my sister as I sat the laptop down. "Open the rest and you'll see." The next box was kind of small. "Beats headphones? External hard drive?" Jas nodded her head and pointed to the big box. She helped me pick it up, I haven't got all my strength back in my arm. "You said you want to DJ right?" As I got the box open I had to control myself from yelling. I checked Nova as I hugged Jas so tight. "Numark Mixtrack Pro 3 DJ Controller !!" She laughed as I played with the turntables. "Sis this is dope man." She got up and kissed my head. "I love you. Go get ya music downloaded put it all on the hard drive. Take care of your equipment. I got an old friend from high school who will help you out, I'll call him tomorrow. I'm proud of you, I love you. But Empire on and Nova not gone sleep tonight if you don't wake her up." I nodded as I placed everything back in the boxes. I got my baby girl and went back up to the room. "Here come Siah, I'll text you tomorrow." What the fuck? I open the door to see Diamond reading her book and her phone on my side of the bed. "You done studying?" She looked at me and shook her head. "Well when you done I got a question." She looked up at me without moving her head. "What's up babe?" I sat on the bed as I continued waking Nova up. "For one our daughter is stubborn when it comes to getting up." She sat up and closed the book. "I wonder where she gets it from, daddy. What's the question?" I handed her Nova and looked dead in her eyes. "Who you gone text tomorrow?"
