(Past)

"Alisha's POV"

"The list won't end." He chuckles. "I used to bunk school a lot and would go to road trips or hangout casually. Illegal something was I broke into a museum with my girlfriend. Craziest thing I have in my life is me and my friends  mistakenly prank called a cop and he tracked our numbers and yes we were arrested." He ends with another chuckle.

We kept talking for more hours. It is midnight. We have been talking since 2 hours now.

"You watch bollywood?" He asks out of nowhere.

"No.. I find the movies very overrated and same plot going on and on." I frown replying

"Then you don't know me." He mumbles.

"What?" I scrunch my eyebrows.

"Nothing. I thought you'r Indian."

"Nah I am Pakistani. I was born in here, in UK. British born Pakistani."

"Woh girl I am pakistani too." He replies with excitement.

"Yeah I figured that out by your accent."

"Can you sing?" I asked out of nowhere.

"No. Not really." He replies.

"Will you sing a song for me? Please!" I request him.

I won't mind his velvety, husky voice now.

"A-ah over the phone?" He asks sounding confused or nervous.

"Yes what the prob." I shrug. "Please." I add.

"Fine." He sighs. "You like hindi or english songs?" He asks.

"I prefer english." I smile

I hear guitar strings from the other end.

"You play guitar?" I ask with curiousness in my voice.

"Yeah sometimes." He replies. "Hey please don't judge if my voice is cringing or if I don't able to sing nicely." He requests.

"I won't." I reply as I hear him singing.

I can feel the song. The tune, lyrics and his perfect voice was just too much too handle now. He chose the song which fitted perfectly in my situation. As if the lyrics were just inspired by my life.

He continued his singing as I kept mesmerising his angelic voice.
