Head Guard's POV ---

So far we have combed all the places that Alexander suggested! Blast! Where is this girl?

"What now?" I ask hopelessly.

"Well, we didn't check The Black Forest yet," my second in command suggested.

"Do you really think she would be there?" I growl.

"Well, yes, actually! It's the perfect spot for her! No one would ever think that a poor, spoiled Princess would be in there," he states.

"True..." I trail.

"But it's a Suicide Mission! No one would ever dare to go in there!" I cry.

"Um... I think if the Princess can survive, then we have a pretty good chance of surviving too," he says rolling his eyes.

"Fine! Go alert the King and Queen!" I roar at my second in command.

"Meet us here afterwards!" I call to him as he sprints away.

The Queen's POV ---

Never, ever have I felt so empty inside. I wasn't fair to her. I never gave her a choice in what she wanted in life. I promised myself I would give her a choice. But, now I'm sending The Guards after her. I'm still not giving her a choice. And for that, I am truly sorry to her.

My husband and I are sitting on Our Thrones again, waiting for some news about Cassia. Any news.

Just then, The Second In Command Guard walks in swiftly and bows to us.

"Your Majesties, we have searched far and wide in all the places that the Elf has suggested. Except, The Black Forest. Now, it's a Suicide Mission... But we're willing to do whatever it takes to bring Cassia back," he says proudly.

I think long and hard for a moment. Until I realize I don't need to.

"Do it," I say.
