Astrid POV
I woke up early the next morning to see Stormfly showing me she wanted to go flying "alright then" I said getting up. I sleepily climbed onto Stormfly's back and she started flying, we flew until sunrise when I tried to get her to turn around.
We landed on a small island "come one we have to go back, they'll notice we're gone" i tried convincing her.
Just as she looked like she was ready to leave I heard something. I walked over to the noise "who's there?" I said knowing there was someone there.
A man probably only twenty stepped out, he had white hair and a big stick looking object "hey" he said happily.
"hey who are you?"
"wait... you actually heard me? can you see me too?" he asked getting all excited.
"of course I can see you, why wouldn't I?" I replied and he started to smile.
"This is awesome, I'm Jack by the way, Jack Frost" he said finally introducing himself
"Great, I'm Astrid and this is Stormfly" I introduced Jack looked fascinated
"That's so cool, not many people appreciate how nice dragons can be, they just try to kill them" he said petting Stormfly.
"Anyway, I should go the gang will have noticed that I'm gone so, yeah" I said jumping onto Stormfly's back. Jack started floating "how do you do that?" I asked.
"I'm something called a Guardian and until I become a full Guardian people who can see me have to believe in me, when I become a full Guardian I will be able to control who sees me" he said sounding sad
"Maybe I can stay a little longer" I changed my mind. I only planned on staying a couple hours but a big thunderstorm started and I had no choice but to stay.
