"Why is it that...in every single mission we go in together, I ... have to dress up?" I gave the dress a final yank up and turned around for Ross to zip it up. "I'm finished, well, once my shoes are on. You?"

"Close." He checked himself in the mirror again, before his eyes flicked to the telephone, which began to ring. I went for it.

"Hi."

"Evening. How was your flight?"

"Bumpy." I whined.

"You know what you're doing, don't you?"

I pressed the telephone to my chest. "Ross! Do you know what you're doing?"

"Yes, why?"

"Ross doesn't know what he's doing." I said into the phone and he whined.

"The person that has one of the USBs you need is going to be at this fancy bar in approximately twenty minutes. Your job is to lure him to you, and eventually get the stick from him. Ross' job is to be prepared for a Plan B or a fight if anything happens." David explained and I could hear him roll his eyes. "Got it, children?"

"Yes, Dad. I'll call when we arrive." I said and hung up, retrieving my heels before sliding them on, automatically 6 inches taller (and Ross' height). He walked out of the room calmly and stood in front of me. "I feel good about myself now."

"And I can slowly feel the testosterone levels of mine decrease." He laughed. "Let's get out of here."

I checked my phone rapidly as we reached the ground floor of the hotel we were assigned to. David had shot me a message about a little present for Ross that was with the valet.

It wasn't long until I heard a yelp.

"Look at this bad boy!" He was a total fanboy over a cherry red Lamborghini the valet had brought out for him. "Can we take it for an extra spin on the way?"

"It's Monaco, go crazy." I walked around the other side and opened the door before stepping inside. Literally like a private jet in here.

"This looks expensive."

The entrance to this oriental bar was literally made out of gold, the door hinges with diamond details. I blinked, taking in the extravagance.

"This door could buy my life." Ross said, sharing the same awe as me. He sprung to life short moments later, and removed his jacket to place on me. It was obviously huge on me, but the gesture made me smile. "It's a bit cold."

"That's so sweet, but we're about to go inside." He came for the blazer. "Doesn't mean I don't want it on me. Plus it smells amazing."

"Thank you." His arm found its way around me and he opened the door.

The extravagance continued inside, the wallpaper literally containing thin bands of gold as adornments. People looked as if they were in some sort of social competition; trying to out-lie with one another with stories of expensive trips.

"I may have to have this back, you're supposed to draw attention, and I don't think a men's blazer would be the trick." Blondie gently removed it off my frame. "Good luck, love."

"Thank you." And he was off, quickly fitting right in with other businessmen. It definitely wasn't his atmosphere, or his type of people, but his acting skills were a-ok.

I sat by myself at a table, looking like the best 'damsel in distress' that I could pull off. It was horrid, but a man who fitted the exact description David gave me - dark hair and eyes, a briefcase and visible gun holder - came and sat opposite me.

"Why is such a beautiful woman sat by herself?"

"Nobody has been able to fill the silence with anything remotely interesting."

"Well, I hope to change that." He kissed my hand.

Let's get this over and done with.

another filler, I'm so sorry I really don't know where I'm going with this
