Each year, leaves fall off their branches at the same time. Water becomes swimmable again every year at the same time, like how snow layers the ground in the same season. All these things occur at an expected time and never stray just like how the warm sun glistens our skin in the same season. Sergio Ramos and Shannon Riley are like that. An expected and routine based pair.

Shannon and Sergio met through mutual friends. Shannon's older sister's, best friend was dating a guy who's father was a big businessman and knew the president of Real Madrid directly. While attending a Real Madrid match, Shannon was, against her will, taken to meet the Madrid team.

Shannon's sister, Avery, is beautiful. She had competed in many beauty pageants growing up and she floated through life because of her looks. Yet, despite being from the same gene pool, Shannon wasn't as standout-ish. She didn't have the long, skinny legs her sister had gotten. Hers had muscle to them from playing football and volleyball. Her boobs weren't the size of a mountain like her sister, but were average. Despite being breathtaking herself, standing next to her sister, she wasn't given fair praise.

Sergio was celebrating his win when their coach quieted everybody down. He asked for the players to dress and act civil in front of the President's special guests. The team grumbled and were unhappy to oblige, but they did anyways. Once they saw Avery and her best friend walk into the room, the guys eyes widened. Then they started a stampede of flirtation.

Shannon was younger, only 17, while her sister was 24. Shannon knew that nobody would be interested in her as long as her sister was around. She separated herself from the group of footballers who weren't interested in her. She sat down on a nearby bench, behind her was somebody's kit but she didn't care since everybody was busy with her sister.

Sergio was on the outside of the circle. At first he wanted to talk to the girls; who were amazingly hot, but after his fellow teammates beat him to the punch, he simply gave up. He went to go to his clothes, and found a girl on her phone with a permanent sulk on her face, sitting on the bench next to his. He eyed the girl momentarily.

"Hola." Sergio said causing Shannon to jump.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you." Sergio frowned.
"Oh, no, it's alright." Shannon said placing her phone on her thigh.
"I'm Sergio." He introduced.
"I'm Shannon, it's nice to meet you." She smiled and extended her hand.

Sergio took the moment to admire her smile. It was beautiful. It's a smile that lights up a room, but also give Sergio an extra wave of happiness because it was directed at him.

"Are you with them?" Sergio asked gesturing to where the two girls were and now only four of his teammates.
"The blonde is my sister." Shannon shyly admitted.

Sergio nodded.

"I didn't notice you when you walked in." Sergio admitted.
"Nobody does, everybody's attention goes directly to Avery or whatever friend she brings with her." Shannon shrugged.

Sergio felt a bit of remorse for saying that. Though, it didn't seem to bother Shannon. Her answer seemed so robotic, like she says it everyday. Sergio realized that Shannon must be forgotten about often. He eyed the girl in front of him and noticed every time she met somebody's eyes, she immediately looked away. He found out, just in those mere three minutes of talking to her, she has no clue how gorgeous she really is.

"Did you enjoy the match?" Sergio asked.

Shannon eyes lit up and her smile formed into an adoring one. It made Sergio's heart melt.

"I loved it! I've never been that close to a professional match before." Shannon beamed.
"You've been to matches before?" Sergio asked.
"Not a Real Madrid one." Shannon coyly admitted.
