Louis Tomlinson.

He used to be the always cheery, smiling, brightly dressed, joker of Hallcross School.

Yes. He was popular.

He had the hottest girlfriend and was the star of the drama department.

He was known for his love of singing.

But something happened.

Louis came back from summer holidays last year completely different.

He wasn't the always cheery and happy joker anymore.

He was the kid who wore clothing always covering his arms and legs and sat alone.

He didn't talk to anyone since no one talked to him. Unless they were being mean. He was tormented daily by his schoolmates.

But worst of all.

He lost his love for singing and performing.

He hasn't sung or preformed in front of anyone in over a year.  

Apart from his sisters who are the only people that love him and talk.nicely to him. They're the only people he loves and feels loved by.

But no one knows why.

No one knows what happened.

He may not say much at school.

But at home Louis' a mess.

He's deeply hurt and depressed.

He stays in his room and cries and self-harms.

Why?

Two words:

Hannah Walker.

She broke his heart.

Shattered it.

On the way home from a date.

Right before the unthinkable happens.

Nobody knows for sure what happened that night.

Rumour has it it was Louis.

Now, a year later, he still isn't over it.

He just can't seem to get the haunting images out of his head.

He lost his first love.

Literally.

And the constant teasing, pain, and rumours from his old friends and his parents' constant fighting and occasional beating doesn't help.

Now it's a new school year.

His last at Hall Cross.

On the first day he runs into a new girl who convinces him to join her and come back onto the drama stage.

She's never met him.

Never talked to him.

Never seen him.

But for some reason, this girl is intrigued by this troubled blue-eyed boy and is determined to learn more about him.

And to find the old Louis and bring him back.

This girl?

Eleanor Jane Calder.

And she's

Finding Lou.
