In the Fleeting Moments

I'll stand behind you,
Pressed against your back,

I'll plant kisses along your shoulders,
Along your neck.

Too short to resist your cheeks,
too tall to kiss anywhere else.

I'll whisper sweetness in your ear,
And speak dreams into your spine.

My mind too loud to be muffled,
My voice too quiet to be more than mine.

I'll do all of these things in the fleeting moments that I can.
Before you have to go.
