Butterflies come flying out [poetry]

One Day

One day
Someone will break your heart,
Like mine broke that night.

One day
A seaming endless stream of tears will form in your eyes,
Like mine the night you left.

One day
Your chest will fall to the floor,
Like mine did every day for months.

One day
Your teeth will grit so hard you'll fear they're going to break,
Like mine have felt so many times since then.

And if I'm being completely honest,
I hope to god that day never comes for you.

I hope the next girl you love,
Loves you so much her heart clenches at the though of you.

I hope you kiss her and her life turns into poetry.

I also want to tell you,
If that day comes I will be there for you,
Even if you weren't there for me.
