At night
Iman

After I played, fed, washed the twins, and finally put them to bed, Pattie and I sat in the second level living room drinking tea and talked about what happen. I initially didn't come back to the palace to discuss what happened the other day, but she was begging me to forgive Justin.

"I don't care that much for what occurred yesterday.." I said and put my mug down. "But that doesn't mean I'm staying with him either."

"I'm sorry for what he said to you. I don't know what's been going on with him."

"Neither do I." I said relaxing more in my seat.

"You know, Pattie. I've just been thinking." I said looking at her.
"What is it, dear?" She was eager to know.

"Maybe all this queen and royalty stuff isn't for me. Maybe I made a mistake or something. I thought I made the right choice of marrying your son but, it's backfiring on me right now. He makes me regret so much." I said with my tone laced in nothing but pain.

Pattie gave me a pitiful look. "I'm so sorry love, just please give all of this time. He's very sorry, Iman."

"I'd like to hear that from him, Pattie. But even if he did apologize it wouldn't do much. I now know what he really thinks of me." I said softly as I bit my lip and looked in my lap.

There was nothing else she could say after that.

There was also nothing Justin could say either whenever I walked past him while tending to the twins. He couldn't say hello, he couldn't say my name, nothing. He did stare though.

"So you will be coming back right?" Jazmyn asked me as I was getting ready to leave with the last of my things.

"Oh of course. I have little ones don't I?" I asked her. I wanted to make things very clear that my kids were the only ones that were my top priority.

Jazmyn pursed her lips. "I hope things work out in the end between you and my brother."

"Thank you, Jazmyn." I gave her a smile. "But I doubt that will happen." I made up my mind what I was about to do.

the next day

"Father is rolling in his grave right now." Jaxon said to Justin as they were the only ones left at the breakfast table.

Jaxon noticed Justin's appearance that didn't look to well and also his glum mood. Everyone knew the reason for his behavior but no one said anything.

"I don't want to talk about this."

"No offense, brother but you're making the worst mistake of your life letting a good woman like her go." Jaxon told him.

Justin narrowed his eyes at him. "You're always in my business. Worry about you're own damn relationship."

Jaxon raised an eyebrow at him and got up from the table. "At least I have one."

What Jaxon said hit Justin hard.

Not just because he had a point, but because this morning Justin woke up with something on his nightstand that he wasn't expecting to see.

[Flashback]

Justin swung his legs over the bed and stretched. He was still pretty tired but no matter how many times he would force himself to sleep he couldn't even lay comfortably in his bed.
