    Nagtatago ako ngayon sa isang public library ng San Lorenzo, sa gitna ng maliit kong kastilyong gawa sa mga makakapal na libro. Hindi ko inaasahang makikita ko si Kuya PolSci. Ang aga-aga, sa lahat ng mukhang makikita ko. I directed all my attention towards the book in front of me instead.

    "Hm? May sinasabi ka, Ed?" Inilapag n'ya ang phone n'ya sa ibabaw ng isang libro.
    "Sabi ko, ano raw?" Isiningkit ko ang mga mata ko.
    "Papunta na daw s'ya."
    "Ahh. Papunta na raw naman pala."
    "Mm-hmm! Matutuwa kang kasama si Adrian!"

    She shook her head with a slight giggle. "Hindi, pero marami kang matututunan sa kanya!" Her eyes twinkled in amazement.

    I shrugged. "Dito na muna ako. Nag-iisip pa ako."
    "Ano naman ang pinag-iisipan mo?"
    "Pinag-iisipan ko kung bakit ako nagpapaalila sa isang tissue paper."
