S-class...You've Changed

It's been a few years since Laxus confessed to me. We've been dating ever since...Ever and the others keep teasing us by saying how strange Laxus looks when he's with me, but I don't really mind. Although I'm from an independent guild I always stop by Fairy Tail to visit Laxus. The kids have grown into teenagers and there have been many ups and Downs, but I know that Laxus will always protect me.

"Natsu! You're not qualified to be on the second floor yet!"

As I entered the guild, I could hear grandpa Makorov yelling at the pink haired wizard. Something about not being able to access the second floor. I watched as Natsu glared up at Laxus who smiled evilly. I stood quietly by the entrance and tried to stay unnoticed, but I wasn't successful. I locked eyes with Laxus and before I blinked, Laxus jumped down from the second floor and zapped right in front of me.

"I didn't know you were standing there (y/n)."

"I haven't been here that long..."

"Too bad. You missed gramps beating up Natsu. There are so many weaklings in this guild now."

"Laxus..."

I was scared...for the first time, I was scared. Laxus recently became an s-class wizard a few years ago, but he's changed. He's not the same person who held me in the snow under the starry sky. He's taller and more confident, but there's something else. Something that worries me.

"Lets head up to the second floor."

"A-alright..."

I was allowed upstairs because I was also an s-class wizard. My father is the master of our guild and I'm the eldest daughter along with my twin brother. The rest of our guild consists of my younger brothers and sisters, we're one of the only guilds that only has family members.

We went upstairs and sat on an empty couch. Laxus sat close to me. I could feel his warmth wrap around my small body.

"Laxus..."

"I love you, (y/n)."

"I-I.."

I was cut off when we heard a noise. Something scampering across the floor. Then I saw something blue running away with a paper.

"Laxus, was that-"

"...let them go, those brats want a challenge, and they're going to die."

Laxus, you really have changed.
