All The Time We Spent Apart

7 year gap--

Its been 7 years since it happened. 7 years since I watch the destruction of Tenrou island. I was distraught when I saw that beam of light. My brothers had to hold me back as I tried to go back to the island. For weeks on end we searched, searched for signs of survivors, anyone. But we had no luck, after 2 years I was forced to give up the search. My duties to my own guild came first. I did keep in touch with Hibiki from the blue Pegasus guild.

"7 years...Laxus..."

I stood in a grassy opening just outside of Magnolia, only a single tree grew in the center of the field. I held the crystal lacrima tightly in my hand. I missed him, and I couldn't move on. My brothers tell me I should give up and my sisters tell me I should not dwell on the past, but I can't forget them. Laxus, Bixlow, Fried, Ever, Natsu, Erza, and everyone else. They were more than my friends and now they were gone.

"I'm sorry...I can't do this anymore Laxus. I won't go back."

I shed the last of my tears under that tree. I headed back to my own guild where my 3 brothers were waiting for me.

"Finally, we were waiting."

"Lets go...we have work to do."

"...right..."

I was just about ready to head out when I received a telepathic message from a familiar voice.

(Y/n), can you hear me?

Hibiki? Is that you?

Yeah, it's me...

what is it Hibiki?

You should get to Fairy Tail right away...

Is it more guild trouble? Sorry Hibiki, but I'm kind of busy right now.

Its not like that...just trust me. You're going to want to see for yourself.

What?

I tried to reach Hibiki again, but he cut off his communication. My twin brother stopped and looked back at me.

"(Y/n), are you alright?"

"Y-yeah, I think so...could you go on without me? I have to check something out."

"U-um sure but-"

I didn't wait for his reply. I teleported to Magnolia, and stood just outside of the Fairy Tail guild hall. After 7 years, the hall was in ruins and nearly falling apart. I walked up to the door, but just before I opened the door, I heard familiar voices. Voices that brought tears to my eyes and made me remember forgotten memories.

"Ahaha! You haven't changed at all in 7 years!"

"Raaah! I can't believe how pathetic you guys are!"

Natsu? That was...Natsu's voice right?

"You're so loud!"

"Shut up Gray! Don't strip either!"

Gray? That means...

I slowly opened the door to see everyone celebrating and laughing. Tears formed in my eyes when I saw them, the wizards who disappeared 7 years ago. Tears dripped down my face as I covered my mouth in shock. Natsu noticed me standing at the entrance and smiled.

"Its (y/n)! Hey Laxus! Guess who's here!"

"Be quiet brat! You're so loud!"

Laxus scratched the back of his head in annoyance. He hadn't noticed me yet.

"L...Lax...."

I couldn't say it. There were too many tears and an incredible aching pain in my chest. My legs couldn't move, my breath was shaking, my mind was filled with one thought. He's alive! I took one step forward, then another, and then another. I continued until I broke into a full sprint. I charged toward Laxus.

"(Y/n)?"

Bixlow noticed me, but it was too late. I tackled Laxus and hugged him tight. Laxus fell over and was too shocked to do anything.

"Woah! What the-"

Laxus sat on the floor with me on top of him. I hugged him tightly and buried my crying face in his chest.

"Wh-what? (Y/n)? Whats wrong?"

"Laxus...you're alive...you're..."

My thoughts were all mixed up. I couldn't think straight. I just kept hugging him tighter and tighter until I was sure I might choke him to death.

"Ok ok. Lets go."

Laxus sighed and picked me up bridal style. My arms were still wrapped around his neck and my head was hidden in his shoulder. He casually walked out of the guild as if nothing happened and walked back to his place, an empty house in the woods just outside Magnolia. He threw me on his bed and hovered above me.

"Whats wrong, (y/n)?"

"N-nothing...nothing is w-wrong n-now."

I sniffled between words as I placed my hands on his cheeks. My eyes were red from crying so hard, but I didn't care. Laxus remained quiet as I started into his eyes. Laxus sighed deeply and moved his face closer to mine. Once again our lips met, but this time the kiss was much longer, more passionate, and much deeper. Laxus forced his tongue in my mouth and tangled it with my own tongue. In an instant, my breath was stolen and my thoughts quieted. My mind was completely blank. Laxus pulled away and licked his lips seductively.

"Now then, what do you want?"

Okay okay, so...um...I can't believe I just wrote that, but I was insanely mad when Laxus disappeared during the Tenrou arc. I'm just so in love with Laxus! <3 >\\\<
