Alone Time

I leaned comfortably on Laxus's chest as they announced the final battle of day 2.

"Sabertooth's Yukino vs Mermaid Heel's Kagura!"

Yukino and Kagura both walked to the center of the arena where they waited for their match to start. I could hear them talking from where I was.

"Shall we make a bet like the others?"

Yukino suggested and Kagura scoffed.

"I only bet with my life."

"Then I shall do the same."

They just bet their lives and whoever won would be responsible for the loser's life. As soon as the battle started Yukino grabbed 2 gold keys from her side pocket and summoned 2 celestial spirits, Libra and Pisces. Kagura fought the 2 spirits and seemed to be struggling, but after a few minutes Kagura began to fight back. She defeated Libra and Pisces with one attack. Yukino was now on the defensive and she was forced to summon her trump card, the supposed 13th key of the zodiac, Ophiuchus. A giant snake appeared and slithered around the stadium. Kagura didn't blink, she charged the celestial spirit at full speed with her sword, archenemy, still sheathed. Kagura defeated Yukino and delivered Sabertooth their first ever loss.

"Your life is in my hands now."

I heard Kagura state as she walked out of the arena.

"That was interesting."

Laxus spoke as he uncrossed his arms and wrapped his big hand around mine.

"Yeah, what do you think will happen to the girl?"

"Don't know..."

Laxus tugged me through the crowd as we tried to exit Domus Flau for the day. We walked around Crocus aimlessly for a while, but I eventually got tired of walking.

"Laaaaxus, I'm tired..."

I complained loudly and forced Laxus to stop.

"You're being a real pain (y/n)."

He turned to look at me, then he patted my head like I was a child. He knelt down and showed me his back.

"Hurry up and get on before I change my mind."

"Yay!"

I hopped on Laxus's back and wrapped my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms under my butt to hold me up as he piggybacked me. I hummed happily as Laxus walked toward Mercurius.

"Go Laxy! Go Laxy! Haha!"

"I'm going to drop you (y/n)."

I acted like a child as Laxus carried me to the royal garden. He stopped next to a running fountain and turned his head to look at me.

"We're finally alone."

I jumped off his back and looked at the giant castle.

"If you wanted to go sightseeing you just needed to say-"

I was cut off when Laxus wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close to him. I moaned as Laxus rubbed his face in the crook of my neck, his hot breath sending chills down my spine. He rubbed his nose and lips gently on my neck. He let his scent linger on my body as he pulled away and looked into my eyes.

"Laxus?"

"Lets stay like this...for just a little bit."

Our faces were just a few inches away from each other. I put both of my hands on his cheeks and held his face in my palms. I felt his blonde hair with the tips of my fingers as my hands shook slightly. Then I closed the distance between us and our lips met. I felt the warmth of his lips over mine and a slight surge of electricity. My hands gripped Laxus's hair as his hands wrapped around my ass.

"Roksis (Laxus)..."

I tried to speak between our kiss, but Laxus wrapped his mouth over mine and shoved his tongue in my open mouth. I became short of breath and began gasping for air as Laxus continued to explore my mouth. He pulled back while breathing heavily and observed my pale cheeks with slight red blush.

"I've been wanting to do that since I saw you in that swimsuit."

"L-Laxus!"

I became flustered and hid my face in his chest. He chuckled and rubbed his face in my hair as he lightly rubbed my back with his giant hand. We stayed like that for as long as we could. It was one of the most peaceful nights we had in a long time.
