Fairy Tail: The Mysterious Girl

Twin Dragons

The match started. I watched as Sting and Rogue were quickly overpowered by Natsu and Gajeel. Natsu and Gajeel released a flurry of attacks that knocked the two sabers on the defensive. Natsu took Stung as his opponent and Gajeel took on Rogue. I watched as Sting retaliated with a white dragon roar that Natsu barely dodged. Meanwhile, Gajeel and Rogue were fighting each other in a fist to fist combat that Rogue was clearly losing.

"Rogue!"

Sting called out to his partner through the sea of dust. I couldn't see Rogue until Natsu used his body to attack Sting and Rogue at the same time. Rogue was thrown into Sting and both dragon slayer were knocked back. I looked over to the Sabertooth balcony to see two exceeds watching the frightful sight. Sting and Rogue struggled to stand as Natsu and Gajeel stood uninjured. There was a sudden pause in the battle, then a sudden surge in magic energy.

"White drive!"

"Shadow drive!"

Sting and Rogue's magic energy spiked as white and black magic surrounded them. I stood in anticipation when I realized what type if power they just released. The twin dragons were finally launching their counter attack. Sting was the first to move. A quick fist wrapped in white energy hit Natsu and sent him flying back. Sting's attacks were so quick that even I couldn't keep up. I looked back to Gajeel where I saw a strange shadow circling him.

"Gajeel!"

Gajeel came back to reality and attacked the shadow, but a shadow is impossible to damage. It slipped around Gajeel and Rogue attacked. Rogue suddenly disappeared again and attempted to attack Gajeel again, but Gajeel found him and attacked with his iron club. It was useless though, even Natsu was struggling as I looked back to see Sting launching attack after attack. Gajeel and Natsu were back to back and suddenly arguing. Sting and Rogue took that opportunity to deliver a combined attack. I couldn't see anything. The dust that was kicked up made it impossible to see. When it finally cleared, I could see Natsu and Gajeel both being knocked back. The twin dragon's teamwork was flawless compared to the Fairy duo. Natsu was suddenly unable to move and Gajeel was having a difficult tracking Rogue as a shadow. Then the tides changed, Rogue was suddenly stopped in his tracks by the iron dragon slayer.

"They've adapted..."

Natsu and Gajeel once again became vanguard. They took the sabers by surprise and instantaneously gained the upper hand. But before the audience could even process what just happened, Sting's magic energy spiked again. The pressure was too much for me to handle and I could feel myself nearly reel at the uncomfortable feeling.

"Holy Nova!"

Natsu's in trouble! A bright light dilled the stadium and blinded everyone, but Natsu was still standing. He managed to stop Sting's attack with one hand. Even Gajeel was no longer surprised by Rogue's surprise attacks. I watched the Fairies knock back the sabers once again. Rogue and Sting were lying on the floor, but they weren't done yet. Sting and Rogue stood and began to release even more magic energy.

"I won't lose."

I heard Sting speak as his power raged throughout the stadium. I could feel my body shake from all the power.

"Thats...dragon force!"

They can activate it at will? Thats an immense amount of magic power being released at once!

"Stay out of this Rogue."

Sting suddenly declared a two on one battle against Natsu and Gajeel. Things are getting out of hand.
