"OOF!!" my breath hitched the moment my back collided with the cold hard unforgiving ground. My head hurts and my vision swam as the familiar ocean-heared girl blocked my point of view. She had her usual stioc emotionless face but her eyes gave it away. She looked pissed.

"Get up" she said coldly "from the top"

I groaned, forcing my body up to practice again. No matter how hellish it is, it isn't my place to be complaining. My family thought I was death and it was my fault that everything came the way it is now. I need to learn how to really defend myself. I need to know how to actually fight without help from anyone.

"As your punishment" Lucifena said "Collect supplies and come back by noon without being caught.. Your legs should have regain their strengths by now"

I sighed before taking the bag and dagger she's offering me and made my way outside the mansion. I just hope this journey would turn out fine...

Shu's POV...

"DAMNIT!!" an irk mark found its way in me again when I heard the umpteenth time Yuma screamed. Its been a while since he began being violent and rude again. Maybe he's... no... it was because she already died.

I remembered the times when she would always call me nii-san and the way she would always tell me that I was her favorite brother. She changed me so much but... her demise gave me the most painfull thing I could ever take. It was so much and I admit it took me 3 years to finally recover along with the rest of our brothers.

The appocalypse isn't helping and the more allies we have, the more we could survive death. She values our family more than anything in this world. That we always face hardships and obstacles in life but that doesn't mean we should give up. Because not once did my little sister die in my heart.

"Shu" I heard Reiji knocked on my door, snapping me out of reality. I groaned but stood up anyway and we t for the door. "What??" I asked quite rude but his stern emotionless face gain nothing from my threat. I sighed and followed him when he motioned for me to come with him. I really hate this..

The sounds of screams and blood filled the air. I took a peek behind the rundown building I'm hidding. The humans who have been chasing me got squished by the huge pillar that I telekinetically dropped on them before quickly rushing back to the coven together with a child named Lorcan.

I was actually sent by Reiji and Ruki to rescue a group of three ghoul children. However, when I failed my mission and came there late. Those filthy humans killed them and much to my dismay, I was only able to save one. He has auburn hair and reddish black eyes with glasses and he was about 7 years old.

"If you want to live run faster kid--- watch out!!" I hollered and pulled him out of the way, only to be shot by the arm. The pain was so intense and I know I was hit by a hunter's weapon. I looked up and saw three people ganging up on us.

I stood my ground and growled at them, hidding Lorcan behind me until....

My eyes widdened when they were all killed flawlessly by a simple weapon from our savior. The person suddenly pulled me by the wrist together with the child and we all run at inhuman speed until we reached a safe place to hide.

"You're a vampire, right??" I asked the mysterious person wearing a scarf and hidding his hair and face before me. He just nodded before placing her hands on top of my wound, producing green-aura like chakra.

Somewhere deep below a coven in 3rd Person's POV...

A sudden strike of feeling cut off the longing of a certain beautiful silver haired woman. She looked out the window and a single tear rolled down her face. She felt a familiar feeling that somewhere out there, her children are all still alive.

"Is something wrong Lady Christa??" Senshi, the archdemon, said. The said woman just shook her head and smiled before pulling the young woman in her arms for a tight embrace. Shocked, the younger slowly gave her a hug. As if mother's intuition, she knew what makes the Lady happy.

"You've felt her haven't you??" Senshi said, gently rubbing the back of the older woman. Christa smiled as teas of joy run down her face. "Yes..."

He healed my wound flawlessly like Lady Christa. "He must be a healer" I thought but he suddenly looked at me with those cold crimson eyes before he pointed towards a certain direction. I turned my head and familiarity shoot me. That was the way back to our coven. When I turned back to thank him, he's already gone...

End of Shu's POV...

"What took you so long??" Lucifena said "I said before noon correct??"

I just nodded to her as my mind goes haywire. I don't what to think about and extreme mixture of feelings shoot through me. I placed my bag of supplies down the couch before taking my scarf off and going back to my room.

"If you need help..." Lucifena said softly, knocking the door "don't hesitate to tell me"

I was glad that she understand what I'm feeling and didn't ask me anything about it. It was my first kill after Satran-nii and I feel shaken up after all those years. But what hurts me the most is that I've seen Shu-nii. How I wanted to hug him so much but I can't. I'm still not strong enough.

Even how I use link without alarming my mother failed. I still can't use it well and I need more time. I swear I will come back once I know I can no longer rely on them anymore. Because this time. I want to be the one to save them...

3rd persons POV...

Somewhere in an odd looking eerie place, a cloaked man smirked. "You seem to be glad master" one of his servants said, noticing the sudden glee that painted their lord's face. The said lord just looked at them and said "seems like my beautiful niece and nephew is back..."

Suddenly back at the hidden mansion where Lucifena and Yumiko resides, a familiar feeling filled the pinkish white haired woman. Her eyes widdened and she smiled, running back to her older twin's room where he lay a deep slumber...
