New Years Edition• Remus

"Happy New Year!" Said a little girl who passed you and your best friend Remus Lupin on the streets of Diagon Alley
You smiled at her while she ran by and came closer to Remus because a chilly breeze just blasted you

"Where are we headed?" You asked Remus curiously while you hurried

"The leaky Caldron for Sirius's New Years party" he says opening a large welcoming door that blasted you with warm air when you stepped inside.

The place was buzzing with activity! Drinks all around and a fire cackling in a corner with laughs coming from all around you

"Remus! Y/N! You made it! Come in and enjoy yourself's" said Sirius with a wide smile and a wink in your direction

"Want a drink?" Asks Remus with a low sexy voice

"Um I'd love one" you say smiling up at him since he was lots taller than you

He leaves for a moment and you FANGIRL about how hot he looks and then make yourself presentable for when he returns

"Here you are Miss Potter" he says handing you a glass of champagne.. Did I mention you were James's twin sister?
"Thanks Remus" you say smirking at him and notice that it is 11:30PM and many people around you were pretty tipsy and so was Remus
"How much have you drank Rems?" You ask him while he takes a gulp of his beer

"I don't know! Let's dance!" He says pulling you to the dance floor.

This isn't the side you usually see of Remus but I like it! You think

Remus then pulls you close to him and puts two hands on your hips hotly while swaying to the music

"Holy shit" you mumble to yourself I surprise and put your hands around his neck as he looks into your eyes

"Having a good time?" He asks smoothly while pulling you closer

No duh you think and then you say "maybe" looking at him mysteriously

Then thinking out loud came on...

"When the songs done it's the new year!!" Said Sirius into a microphone

"Let's keep dancing" he whispered to you sweetly and spun you

You laughed lightly looking into his eyes while he smiled awe like look at you

"Y/N.... I know that I am probably a little intoxicated right now" he pauses and chuckles to himself "but I have something to say that I may regret in the morning." He says looking into your eyes with a warm hand on your back
"I knew the second that I met you that there was something special about you and I don't see it in the way a friend would.. I am in love with you y/n; please don't tell me I'm not because I know that I am. I am in love with your laugh, the amount of beauty to it and the way it is infectious to everyone around you. I am in love with your beautiful bright eyes that crinkle when you are focusing on something. I love everything about you y/n y/l/n on the inside and out.... Please say something" he says looking into your eyes

"Oh my gods" you say in surprise

"5!"
"4!"
"3!"
"2!"
"1!!!"

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" People scream and you pull Remus in for a kiss answering his confession
