So this book started being edited but I stopped so please excuse any mistakes. I changed Ameenahs character so some pictures through out the story might throw you off.

Jesse

"Why you ain't tell me you was behind on rent?" I asked my mom as she walked in the door from work. I came home after shooting some hoop and saw an notice on the door.

"I didn't want you to worry, I don't want you to start doing illegal things to provide...that's not your job Jesse" she sighed taking off her shoes and putting her purse down.

"You want us out on the streets because you wanted to be prideful. I got a job I could help out"

"I got this baby, you want to help? Go to school and get an education. Become something in life" she smiled kissing my cheek as she walked in the kitchen.

"Fine but here take this" I said pulling out four, one hundred dollar bills."Its not much but it's something" I said hugging her.

"I love you baby" she cried taking the money and putting it in her envelope she used to store rent money.

"Love you too mama"

"Where's your sister?" She asked referring to my younger and only sibling Siona.

"She wasn't here when I got home, I figured she was at Milagros house" I answered getting angry. It was nearing ten o clock at night and she wasn't home. She was only fourteen and she swore she was grown. Be out here wearing these little as crop tops and posting grown ass pics on Instagram, I had to beat her ass one time for posting an ass pic.

"I don't know what to do with that girl, ever since your dad passed she's been acting out" she said leaning on the counter rubbing her hand down her face. She looked tired and she didn't need to stress out about her daughter out here being grown. I swear if I here anything from anybody about Siona, I was gonna kill her.

My pops died about a year ago and we took it hard. I looked up to my pops when it came to everything. I told him about the first bitch I fucked. I told him about some how that tried to pin a baby on me. He helped be train when it came to football. And even understood when I wanted to quit. He supported any decision that I made. So when I got that call saying he was in the hospital with gunshot wounds I was bawling.

My dad was a cop so many people didn't like him but he just doing his job. Siona started acting crazy and at first we let her grieve her own way but now her actions were getting out of hand. I was taken out of my thought when I heard the front door open and close, I looked out from the kitchen and saw Siona trying to rush to her room.

"Where the hell you been little girl" my mom yelled walking out the kitchen and getting in her face. I followed after her and mugged Siona.

"Siona the fuck is that on your neck" I asked snatching her up when I saw what looked like hickeys on her neck. After I said that my mom snatched her from me and smacked her.

"You out here being grown Siona?" she yelled as Siona cried.

"No mama" she cried trying to cover her face so she won't get hit again.

"Lie again" my mom dared looking at her.

"Yes, I'm sorry mama" she cried as my mom let her go she stepped back and shook her head as tears came to he or eyes.

"Gimme your phone and unlock it, I'm taking everything away. Only joy you can have while your on punishment is the Bible" my mom said not even looking mad anymore. My mom was always letting her off the hook with stuff lately, I wold have beat her ass.

"I'm sorry" Siona whispered as she just stood there in a crop top that said Flawless and plain black tights. She was my sister but that was a thot ass outfit. I shook my head at her before going to my room, if I stayed around longer I was going to punch her in her face. I walked in my room laying back on my bed. I got up deciding to go take a shower then I was taking my ass to sleep. I had school tomorrow then I had to go to work. I pulled out some boxers and a pair of sweatpants before walking out my room and into out hall bathroom. I put some music on my phone while checking my notifications waiting for the water to warm up after I turned it on. Most of my notifications I didn't care about. I had some from Instagram, Twitter and a few messages.

Aleisha: so you can't call nobody no more?

Ignore.

Sean: yooo lemme get Amina number, I know she was talking bout me in y'all convo

This nigga is a clown. I told his ass no and skipped over a bunch of thots numbers and fell across one message that made me smile.

Mean ass Meenah: Breakfast tomorrow morning sounds good but you paying.

Earlier I had gotten her number when we we're at the beach. I had a little crush on her I wasn't gonna lie. I told her I would take her to my favorite breakfast spot before school tomorrow. She was just now accepting my offer but I wasn't complaining. I simply responded and hopped in the shower.

Me: lol of course I'm paying, my girl don't gotta spend nothing when she around me

She wasn't my girl but I was going to make sure she was.

Ameenah

I walked away from Toni's door shocked and went into my bedroom. I didn't know what to say about what I saw but it wasn't my business. I just got here and I didn't want to start any drama.

I locked my door and stripped out if my clothes. I still felt sand on me from earlier even though I felt like I dusted it all off of me. I had an ensuite in my room so I didn't have to share a bathroom with anyone. I turned on the shower in the bathroom then walked out to get a towel. I knew I had a towel in here somewhere. My search was interrupted when I heard my phone go off signaling a notification. I picked it up seeing it was a message from Jesse.

Messy ass Jesse: lol of course I'm paying, my girl don't gotta spend nothing when she around me

I smiled putting my phone down as I spotted a towel under the blanket on my bed. I grabbed it and my phone and walked in the bathroom. I replied to him and got in the shower.

Me: Not your girl but it's nice to know you're a gentleman lol

Jesse was cute and he was cool to talk to. I could see us going somewhere in the future.

Ameenah and Jesse, doesn't sound bad together.
