Dear Diary,
I can't lose Bernard. I cried myself to sleep because I couldn't stand the thought of being alone again. I'm beginning to realize that I can be strong and that I don't need to listen to Susan. She may be scary, but I can be scarier. I decided this morning that I was going to kill Susan. She has destroyed my life, and it's time for me to get rid of her before she can hurt me anymore. My plan is to force her into a heavy box that has been blessed by a priest. Then, with the help of the priest, I'm going to burn the box. I walked to town and found a church. There, I asked what the best way to get rid of an evil spirit was, just to see if there were any better ways to destroy her. He said the best way was to ask God to free her. He let me spend the night so I could plan for tomorrow.
Love,
Lucy Belle
