i realise i forgot to give chapter 9 a name so i'm jist gonna keep it like that because i can't think of a name for it. If anyone wants to comment on this what they think i should call it, that'd be great. alright. here we go.
Chapter 10 - They say that love is forever
Jaime pulled up in front of the house and killed the engine.
he smiled to himself and looked at me.
"What?" i asked after a couple minutes.
"Nothing. Let's just go inside."
i unbuckled my seatbelt and we went inside.
"Where the hell have you two been?!" Vic said jokingly.
Jaime and I both bit back our laughter and I said,
"Dude, it's only ten."
"I know. I'm just fucking with you. So how was it? What'd you guys do? Where'd you go? Huh? huh?"
Jaime laughed and i said,
"From my perspective, it was fabulous. We went and saw Hansel and Gretel then we went and ate greasy fuckin' burgers. And now i'm going upstairs to call my little brother who i haven't seen in 6 months."
I walked up the stairs and flopped down on my bed. I pulled out my phone and dialed Kellin's number.
when he picked up, the smile was evidant in his voice.
"Hello?" He said.
"Hey! So you said you had something to tell me?"
"Okay! Are you sitting down?"
"I'm laying down."
"Good enough. Okay there's a couple things, actually"
"Just say them, Kellin!"
"Okay! first, I'm coming to see you in San Diego."
I sat up and smiled like an idiot.
"Are you serious?!" I shreiked.
"Yerp."
"what's the second thing?"
"I'm at the airport right now waiting."
"You're going to be here tomorrow?!"
"yerp. You should thank Jaime, for this."
"I will. Is there a third thing?"
"Yeah. I asked Sophie to marry me."
"Kellin!" i yelled really loudly, "Did she say yes?"
"Yeah. She did. She just has to graduate at the end of the year."
Okay, i guess i should explain what he means. Kellin and I were in the same grade because he had skipped a grade. So we both graduated last year. Kellin and Sophie had been dating for 4 years. so, since Sophie had been in grade 9.
"I'm so happy for you!"
"You sound like such a girl right now!This isn't normal!"
"I don't care! My little brother is engaged!"
"Yes i am. Anyways, tell Vic he neds to be here by 7."
"A.M?"
"Yes, Lex. AM."
"Okay. I'll see you when you get here."
"Bye, Lex. I love you."
"I love you too."
