"*sigh*what Is it, Hide?"
Kaneki had just got home when Hide called him.
"ARE YOU HOME YET?"he yells
"Y-yes I just-"
Hide hung up.
"Hide?"
A loud knocking on his apartment door made him nearly drop his phone.
"KANEKI KANEKI KANEKI KANEKI KANEKI-"
It was Hide.
Kaneki unlocked the door and Hide bursted through.
"HIDE CALM DOWN! WHAT IS IT?"
"Guess who has a girlfriend?"
He said with a smug look on his face.
"Hide! That's amazing news but...couldn't this have waited till morning?"
"Oh and that's another thing! Where the heck have you been? You were gone for hours!"asked Hide
Kanekis cheeks turned red.
Hide noticed and grinned.
"Oooooh! Does wittle Kaneki have a special someone?" He asked mockingly.
"N-no! I was just...working late..."
"Don't lie to me mate, I know when you're lying."
He replied.
"But I'm not gonna force you to tell me what you're doing so late at night."
Hide gave Kaneki a cheeky wink as he collapsed on Kanekis bed.
"You don't mind if I crash here for the night, do ya?"
"I-"
"Thanks!" Hide fell asleep on the bed there and then.
Kaneki laughed"How can you fall asleep so fast, Hide?"
Watching his best friend sleep so peacefully on his bed made Kaneki remember how much he used to have a crush on him. But it also made him kind of hungry. He resisted the urge to devour the golden haired boy while he slept.
"Night Hide."
He kissed his friend on the forehead before falling asleep in an armchair.
