Dally's Daughter.

Chapter 19

  Dads still in the hospital and he is going in for surgery in an hour. Soda, Pepsi, and I went to see him.  I looked at him, just stared. Then I said,
  "I love you Dad, you gotta go now." I gave him a long hug and picked up Pepsi who was on his lap. She cried during the surgery as if she new what her grandfather was going through. She likes Steve so Soda went and got him. Then she stops. A doctor walks out and asks,
  "My I speak with you two alone." Motioning to me and Soda. We got up and she took us to a separate room. She told us to take a seat so we did. I started to cry before she said anything.  I squeeze Soda's hand. Then she said,
  "Something went wrong in the surgery," my sobs got louder,"Your Dad is going to die, I'm sorry there's not much we can do anymore. He has one day left." Just then Soda lost it we where crying so hard. Why me was all I could think.  "He is awake everyone needs to say there goodbyes." Was the last thing she said.
  I called the gang and everyone was going in and out one by one. I decided to go last. When Soda went in Johnny came over.
"When you showed up your dad changed ya know." He said. I smiled,"I know."
"Boy does he talk about you. You his daughter. He is my best friend. I just keep hoping he pulls through." Johnny keep me distracted but all I could think of is he couldn't see my first word, first step or, changed any of my diaper and now he won't be there to see his granddaughter do all that stuff. Then Soda stepped out it was my turn I stepped in and he smiled. "I see we saved the best for last."
   A/n ok I'm ending Dally Daughter tonight so I can start doing preferences. So 2 more chapters left.
